CSAB 2020 Special Round 2 Seat Allotment Result

CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board) has released the special round 2 seat allotment result for CSAB special round counselling 2020. The Round 2 is the final round of special counselling, and the candidates will not have Freeze, Float and Slide options after checking the seat allotment. Candidates who are not allocated a seat in the Round 2 will be provided with a refund of seat acceptance or participating fee with a deduction of Rs. 2,000. CSAB Special Round 2 Seat Acceptance Fee

After checking the Round 2 special seat allotment, the candidates will have to accept & confirm the admission by the paying the seat acceptance fee. The details regarding the same are as follows –

General/ OBC-NCL/ EWS

Rs. 38,000


Rs. 18,000

Note: The above fee is not applicable for candidates who paid the seat acceptance fee in JoSAA and opted to participate in CSAB counselling.

Important Points about CSAB Special Round 2 Seat Allotment

Here are some of the important points pertaining to CSAB special round 2 seat allotment –

Candidates who have been allocated a seat in Special Round 2 and the same has been cancelled due to ineligibility or lack of appropriate documents, his/ her seat allotment shall be cancelled and seat acceptance fee will not be refunded.

A candidate who is not allocated a seat in either Round 1 & 2 will be a refund of the participation fee.

A candidate who has been allocated a seat and failed to report after paying the seat acceptance fee will not get a refund of participation/ seat acceptance fee.

After the KCET seat allotment, it is mandatory for all the students to visit the allotted institute for admission and seat confirmation. In case any candidate fails to visit the campus for admission or to confirm their seats, then his/ her seat is canceled.

No, you cannot apply for JEE Main if you are still in class 11th. As per the JEE Main eligibility requirement, the candidate must have passed class 12th in Science or must be appearing for the final examination. You can apply for the exam next year. Till then, you have sufficient time to prepare for the exam.
