GATE 2022 admit card will be released on January 15, and the exam will not be postponed. The entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 5, 6 12 & 13.
IIT Kharagpur has confirmed that the GATE 2022 admit card will be released on January 15. With this update, the conducting body of the exam put an end to all the speculations regarding the postponement of the entrance exam. The admit card was initially scheduled to be released on January 3 but got delayed till January 7. However, the admit card was released on the 7th of January as well which further increased the speculations on GATE 2022 postponement. The entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 5, 6, 12 & 13.
Once the admit card of GATE 2022 is released, the candidates can download the same by visiting the official website, i.e., gate.iitkgp.ac.in. Further, the candidates are required to enter their E-Mail ID and Password to log in and download the admit card.
On the day of the GATE 2022 exam, the candidates are required to carry the admit card along with the original ID Proof such as Aadhaar Card/ PAN Card/ Driving License/ Passport. The duration of the exam is 3 hours, and the candidates will have to report to the exam centre at least 1 hour before the exam to complete the verification formalities.

This year, the GATE exam will be conducted in 29 subjects. Two new subjects Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering and Geomatic Engineering were included in the exam. The paper-wise exam dates of GATE 2022 were also confirmed in December 2021.
