An Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) summit is going to be organized at IIT Patna on 5G Technology, from 29th March 2016 to 31st March 2016. The summit is going to be organized jointly by Indian Institute of Technology Patna (IITP) and Center for TeleInfrastruktur, Aalborg University (CTIF).
The researchers from academia, government organizations and industry etc. can participate in the summit. The summit would observe the sharing of insights of different researchers intuition apart from their views over the possible 5G technologies, heterogeneous networks, standardization aspects architectural designs, new hardware designs and wireless techniques to pave a path in the directions of R&D in the near future.
5G communication network is envisioned as a paradigm shift over the existing networks, which could perhaps be a unified ubiquitous network supporting wireless connectivity of world-wide-web applications. Such a cooperative network would be the result of an extensive heterogeneous networking.
A number of public-private partnership projects are going on in the field of 5G technologies such as FANTASTIC-5G, METIS-II, 5G NORMA and mm MAGIC and are also open for discussions & mutual agreement on the design of CN and RAN. The groups such as 3GPP are also taking initiatives towards standardization of the 5G technologies and are open for any deliberations.
