IITPalakkad will be hosting a science camp 'Science Quest' from 15th May to 24th May 2019. A total of 30 students from school across Kerala and Coimbatore district in Tamil Nadu. Students from the science streams are eligible for the application.
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Palakkad is organising a Science Quest in the campus itself from 15th to 24th May 2019. IIT Palakkad is currently accepting applications for the science camp. IIT Palakkad will be selecting a total of 30 students from schools all over Kerala and the Coimbatore district in Tamil Nadu.
The main objective of the camp is to inculcate critical thinking as well as develop an interest in Science and Mathematics. The camp will become a platform for the selected students to interact with the researchers of IIT Palakkad. The students and the researchers will discuss topics related to Science, Mathematics and Engineering. The students will also experience lab sessions where they will be given hands-on experiences via experiments on various scientific concepts. The camp will also see the students learning through lectures, hands-on workshops, demonstrations, etc.

IIT Palakkad Science Quest Eligibility 2019
- Students who are currently studying in Class 11th (science stream) in the Kerala and Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu. Interested students can fill the online application form which is available on the official website.
- They will also have to provide a bonafide certificate from the Principal as per the formate stated on the website along with their class 10 Marks.
- The selection of the student will depend on the marks he/she attained in the class 10 marks for Science and Mathematics along with the ‘Quest Questions’ that he/she will have to answer in the application form.

The last date to apply for the Science Quest at IIT Palakkad is 3rd April 2019. They will declare the list of students selected for the camp by 15th April 2019 on the official website of IIT Palakkad. They will also provide the students with the lodging and boarding facility which in the IIT Palakkad campus itself.
