ISB Signs a Pact with University of Pittsburgh

Indian School of Business and the University of Pittsburg join hands to promote joint research projects in the field of engineering and science. The Partnership will foresee the two parties working towards developing healthcare systems as well as work on engineering innovation.

ISB Signs a Pact with University of Pittsburgh

One of the top Indian business schools the Indian School of Business Hyderabad has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Pittsburg. As per the MoU, both the parties will be working together on joint research projects. Faculty development and student exchange programme, exchanging of scholarly reports and publications, organising conferences and workshops as well as sharing the experiences faced by the faculty at both the educational institutions.

The Dean of the Indian School of Business, Professor Rajendra Srivastava stated that they have been looking forward to the partnership that has formed them and the University of Pittsburg. He further added that the business school is eager to follow up with the joint research projects that will be undertaken through this collaboration. He states that the University of Pittsburg is a “trendsetter” when it comes to research work based on the healthcare industry.

The Dean further stated that through the partnership between the Indian School of Business and the University of Pittsburg, they plan to bring the research and the ideas that they formulate in the laboratories, out to the marketplace in order to improve the delivery systems for healthcare.

Patrick Gallagher, the Chancellor of the University of Pittsburg had made a statement on the news saying that he looks forward to being a partner to Indian School of Business. He added that the partnership will help them in designing programmes strategically in the fields of healthcare, engineering and business. They will also be working on various engineering innovations as well as developing healthcare so as to help people all across the globe.
