The admit cards for JEE Mains 2017 are likely to be released in the 2nd week of March 2017. The admit cards will be uploaded on the official website and candidates can download it from the website for further use.
But before downloading the admit card, students are advised to check the admit cards carefully. They should check if the details like Name, Gender, Paper, State, Code of Eligibility, Date of Birth, City, Test Centre Name, and Category are mentioned correctly. In the case of any wrong information, students shall immediately contact the JEE Main authorities or JEE (Main) Secretariat.

The admit cards will be issued to students who fulfill the criteria and eligibility conditions. Students will have to present the admit cards at the examination hall to the concerned invigilator. If the candidates fail to produce the admit card, the Centre Superintendent will not allow his/her to take the examination.
The examination is scheduled to be held on 2nd April 2017 in pen and paper based offline mode. The online mode of examination will be held on 8th April and 9th April. The offline and online exam will be held in 114 centres across different parts of the country. This year, the exam will be held in 9 centres abroad including Colombo, Kathmandu, Singapore, Bahrain, Dubai, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah and Dhaka.

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains is held for admissions in different undergraduate engineering programmes at IIITs (Indian Institutes of Information Technology), NITs (National Institutes of Technology), different centrally funded technical institutions (CFTIs) of the country.
