According to sources, the lack of coordination between the varsity departments is one of the major reasons for the delay. The examiners have not come forward to evaluate the answer scripts due to unknown reasons. However, the evaluation process of law exam papers has been completed, and the varsity is yet to announce the results. The varsity relied on outside faculty for completing the evaluation process law exam papers.
On the other hand, the varsity has entrusted the responsibility of printing mark sheets to a private IT firm. For the past year, the officials of IT firm have been vexed with the technical errors prevailing in the exam department of the varsity.
Sri Venkateswara University is spending over Rs. 80 lakh for the release of results and issuing mark lists. Without releasing the results of previous semesters, the varsity is gearing up for conducting 6th and 10th-semester exams from May 03, 2018.
SVU Controller of Examinations, Mr. Sudhakar revealed that the exam results are being delayed due to technical reasons. The varsity will take steps to declare results as early as possible.
