UPSC IAS 2022: Phase 2 Exam Center Change Window activated at upsc.gov.in

UPSC IAS 2022 exam center change facility has begun today for phase 2 of the exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The last date to change the exam center is March 14, 2022. Phase 1 of the UPSC CSE 2022 exam center change facility was started on March 3, 2022, during which interested candidates were able to make changes in the UPSC IAS 2022 exam center at upsconline.nic.in.till March 7, 2022 (06.00 PM).

Also, earlier UPSC has added two new exam centers one in Dharamshala and the other one in Mandi in the state of Himachal Pradesh which caused to increase in the total number of exam centers from 77 to 79. Candidates must note that UPSC IAS 2022 exam center change facility is done on the ‘first-apply-first-allot’ policy.

Steps to change UPSC IAS exam center 2022

In order to change the UPSC IAS 2022 exam center, aspirants are needed to follow the steps given below.

• Visit the UPSC official website - upsconline.nic.in.
• Then, on the homepage, click on the ‘Online request for change of examination center’ link.
• Now, read all the instructions carefully and click on the “yes” button.
• On the next window, enter the registration ID and the captcha correctly.
• Click on the “Continue” button to receive OTP on your registered mobile number and e-mail ID.
• Type in the OTP and press the “Continue” button again.
• Now, change the UPSC IAS exam center 2022 to a preferred one.
• Finally, an OTP will be received which must be entered on the space provided on the web page.
• Download the acknowledgment slip for future reference.
