The State Department of Elementary Education of Assam conducts the Teachers Eligibility Test (Assam TET) each year to recruit teachers in the elementary and primary level schools in the state. The exam is conducted in two papers. Paper 1 is for teaching between Class I to V and Paper 2 is for teaching in Class VI to VII. The Assam TET Examinations are set to be conducted on 10th November 2019 this year.
