ASSAM TET

The result for Assam TET 2019 secondary paper has been released. Students can check the result through the official website. The Assam Teacher Eligibility Test, abbreviated as Assam TET, is conducted by the Department of School Education, which is also known as the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), of the State Government of Assam. Assam TET is the deciding factor for the recruitment of teachers in the government as well as private schools of Assam. Candidates who are looking forward to a career as a teacher in any government or private school of Assam have to appear for this exam and fulfill all of its eligibility criteria to be considered for vacancies. Assam TET 2019 is being conducted after a gap of seven years. The exam is for recruiting teachers for the lower primary and upper primary classes in schools. The lower primary category includes classes from 1 to 5 whereas the upper primary category pertains to the classes 6th, 7th, and 8th. How to Check Assam TET 2019 Result

Assam TET board has released the results for Assam TET 2019 exam on the official website. All the students who have appeared for Assam TET 2019 exam can check the result through the given steps:

1. Go to the official website or click on the direct link given above for Assam TET 2019 result.

2. On the homepage, click on the link for Assam TET 2019 result.

3. A new portal will open. Enter all the required details in the portal such as application id, password, etc.

4. Click on submit.

5. The result for the entered application number for Assam TET 2019 will be displayed on the screen.

6. Download and keep the result in pdf format for future references.

Assam TET 2019 Admit Card

The admit card of Assam TET 2019 has been released. All those who had applied for the exam of Assam TET 2019 can download their Assam TET 2019 admit cards from the official website of Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhijan. How to Apply for Assam TET 2019? Apply Online

The steps to apply for Assam TET 2019 are listed below. The application process for Assam TET 2019 is completely online and candidates can fill the form very easily. Follow these steps to apply for Assam TET 2019 exam.

Step 1- Log on to the official website of ssa.assam.gov.in (Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhijan).

Step 2- Find the link of the Assam TET 2019 application form in the ‘Notifications’ bar.

Step 3- Read all the instructions carefully before applying for Assam TET 2019.

Step 4- Fill in your personal details.

Step 5- Fill in your academic details carefully.

Step 6- Upload all the documents that have been asked for.

Step 7- Upload a scanned copy of your photograph.

Step 8- Upload a scanned copy of your signature.

Step 9- Submit the details.

Assam TET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

A set of eligibility criteria for Assam TET 2019 that is required to be fulfilled by candidates for being able to sit for the exam is released by the Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhijan on their website. Candidates who are looking forward to appearing for the exam must ensure that they qualify the eligibility criteria for Assam TET 2019. Those who do not fulfil the conditions will not be considered for recruitment. The eligibility criteria of Assam TET 2019 is given below.

Assam TET Eligibility Criteria 2019 Lower Primary Level:

The Assam TET eligibility criteria for lower primary level (class 1st to 5th) is given in detail below:

  • The applicant must have completed his/her class 12th education from a school of a recognised board.
  • The applicant must have cleared all the subjects in his/her class 12th final examinations.
  • The applicant must have at least 50 per cent marks in his/her higher secondary examinations if he/she belongs to the general or open category.
  • The applicant must have at least 45 per cent marks in the higher secondary examinations if he/she is from a reserved category like SC, ST, or OBC.

Eligibility Criteria for Assam TET 2019 Upper Primary Level:

The Assam TET 2019 eligibility for upper primary level schools (6th to 8th) is given in detail below:

  • The applicant must have completed his/her class 12th education from a school of a recognised board.
  • The applicant must have cleared all the subjects in his/her class 12th final examinations.
  • The applicant must have at least 50 per cent marks in his/her higher secondary examinations if he/she belongs to the general or open category.
  • The applicant must have at least 45 per cent marks in the higher secondary examinations if he/she is from a reserved category like SC, ST, or OBC.
  • The applicant must have completed his/her graduation from a university that has received UGC recognition.
  • The applicant must have secured 50 per cent marks on aggregate in his/her graduation.
  • The applicant must have a two-year B.Ed (Bachelor in Education) during his/her graduation.
  • If the applicant has not done graduation from a recognised university, he/she must have done a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) from any recognised institute.

Apart from these, the candidate must qualify the eligibility criteria declared by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and its norms.

Assam TET 2019 Age Limit

  • The minimum age that is acceptable for appearing in the Assam TET 2019 exam is 18 years.
  • The maximum age which is valid for sitting for the Assam TET 2019 examination is 44 years.

Assam TET 2019 Examination Pattern

The Assam TET 2019 examination will be conducted offline via pen and paper method. There will be two exams, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 will be for candidates who wish to apply for the position of a teacher in lower primary classes (1-5). Meanwhile, Paper 2 will be for those candidates who want to be recruited as a teacher in upper primary classes (6-8). If an applicant wishes to be considered for recruitment in both the categories, that is from class 1 to class 8, he/she will have to appear for Paper 1 and Paper 2 both. Assam TET 2019 Exam Syllabus

The syllabus of Assam TET 2019 has been revised because the examination is being conducted after a long time. The exam will comprise four basic categories of subjects. Assam TET 2019 Application Fee

The application fee for Assam TET 2019 exam is given below. Applicants will be required to make the payment at the time of submitting the application form via the method of net banking or by a debit card or credit card.

Assam TET 2019 Qualifying Marks

The qualifying marks of Assam TET 2019 are released by the authority conducting the exam. To qualify Assam TET 2019, the candidates are required to score 60 per cent marks, which translates to 90 marks out of the total 150. Only if the candidate scores marks in or above this range can he/ she qualify the Assam Teachers' Eligibility Test (TET) 2019. However, a relaxation of 5 per cent marks will be given to the candidates belonging to the categories of Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe (Hills) / Scheduled Tribe (Plain)/ Other Backward Classes/ MOBC (Minorities and Other Backward Classes)/ PwD (PH). Hence, these candidates will have to score at least 83 marks out of 150 to qualify Assam TET 2019.
