The Commissioner of Entrance Examinations or CEE, Kerala has published an official notification stating that the online applications for KEAM 2017 for the candidates above 25 years of age will reopen soon. However, the facility will be reopened only after the declaration of NEET results. Therefore, the candidates who are above 25 years of age will have to submit fresh applications for KEAM 2017.
Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Kerala also indicated that the candidates who have submitted applications for KEAM 2017 would also be given the option to add medical courses to KEAM 2017. The candidates can make changes in the application form that was submitted earlier.

CEE, Kerala conducts KEAM entrance exam for the admission to Architecture and Engineering courses. Earlier, it was also conducted for the admission to medical courses. Now, the state will conduct medical admissions as per NEET-UG 2017 score. All the medical institutes across the state have to conduct NEET-based medical admissions. The decision of the centre to carry out NEET-based medical admissions will ensure transparency in the system.

Recently, the Supreme Court of India announced that there would be no age limit for NEET-UG 2017. Therefore, the candidates who are above 25 years of age can appear for NEET examination. The apex court also extended the deadline for the submission of applications for NEET. The online application process for NEET-UG 2017 closed on April 5, 2017. The final verdict of Supreme Court on the same was given on March 31, 2017.
