VVIT Engineering College conducted a press on 1-April-2016 to mention about the summer courses that the college is going to launch in collaboration with ‘Swecha’ organization.
College Chairman, Vasireddy Vidya Sagar said, “The summer courses will commence from 24-May-2016 to 9-June-2016. The college is offering 10 different courses in which students who have passed +2 can take part. Certificates will be awarded to the students after the completion of training period. These courses are mainly job oriented courses which would be added as an extra qualification to the students”. He suggested the students to utilize this opportunity. He mentioned, “Hereafter the college conducts summer courses every year”. He also emphasized the importance of these courses for the development of career.
Member of Swecha organization Mr.Ravi Kanth gave the details of various courses;
- Certificate course in MYSQUL
- GIS
- Open Hardware
- LINUX administration
- Multimedia
- Data Science
- 3D Printing
- Quantum Computing Technology
The students can apply for the courses directly at the college CSE department. Course fee can be paid directly at the college cash counter. The courses are open only for +2 pass outs.
A poster related to the summer courses was released on this occasion by the college chairman. The press meet was attended by College principal, HOD of CSE department, members of ‘Swecha’ organization and others.
