IIM Ahmedabad has announced the result for CAT 2021 on January 03, 2022. A topper’s list of CAT 2021 has also been made available online with the names of best performers this year. Shubh Agarwal is one of the high scorers in CAT 2021 who has managed to mark his place in the topper’s list. This MBA aspirant from Noida has successfully scored 99.61 overall percentile. According to Shubh, attempting previous year’s papers of CAT, evaluating his performance, analysing his mistakes, and rectifying them helped him in acing the management exam.
Shubh is currently pursuing Chartered Accountancy and has graduated in commerce stream from Delhi University. His mother is a homemaker and his father is a businessman. Agarwal didn’t take coaching classes and thinks that coaching is not mandatory to get a good score in CAT. According to him, the right guidance and self-discipline are enough to ace the CAT exam.

Explaining his exam day strategy, Shubh says that time management is the key to cracking the Common Admission Test. He further states that he attempted maximum questions and prioritized his strengths first. When asked about his advice for CAT aspirants, Shubh said that candidates need to know how to balance their fear and ego. They need to learn to let go and to try hard.
Shubh has applied to plenty of top b-schools of the nation, including all IIMs and FMS. He thinks these colleges will provide him with a perfect launch pad to build a successful career in the management domain. Agarwal wants to have a career where he can utilise his critical thinking abilities and problem-solving skills along with his financial understanding to create a solid impact. In the future, he has a plan to start his own business.

Shubh has scored 99.8 percentile in VARC, 93.65 percentile in DILR, and 95.35 percentile in QA sections. He is among the top candidates who emerged victorious in the CAT 2021 exam.
