Delhi University gives preference to the candidates who would like to pursue their UG in Languages. Given below are the eligibility criteria for language programmes of DU.

CUET 2022 Eligibility Criteria for language programmes are slightly different from group subjects. The difference is in selecting papers from different sections. CUET 2022 is expected to be conducted in the 1st and 2nd weeks of July. The application process for CUCET 2022 has begun already. Aspirants of CUET exam 2022 must have an idea of the syllabus of CUET 2022 to prepare well for the examination. At the same time, candidates must also have also sound knowledge of the CUET 2022 New Examination Pattern.

Delhi University academic council has taken a decision that all the candidates seeking admission into the university must CUET 2022 score. Hence, all the candidates who would like to join DU must appear for CUET 2022 exam. Candidates, who are willing to take admission in Delhi University (DU) UG Language programmes, can find the eligibility criteria below.

CUET 2022 Eligibility Criteria for Admission in DU UG Language Programmes

The eligibility criteria for admissions in UG language programmes in DU through CUET are as follows.

If a candidate wants to join any of the UG language courses, the candidate must have studied the same subject in Class 12.
DU encourages and gives preference to the candidates who would like to study the UG language programme if that particular subject is studied in Class 12.
If applicants want to study an undergraduate degree in the language, which they did not study in Class XII, they still attempt a language paper from Section 1A and two-domain papers and another subject should be either from B1 or B2.
In case candidates want to pursue an undergraduate degree in Punjabi but haven`t studied in Class XII, such candidates can attend a language paper from Section 1A.
Candidates who have studied Punjabi in Class 10 can select Punjabi in CUET 2022 under Section 1A, two domains from B1 and another paper must be from B1 or B2.
