KEAM 2022: Last Minute Tips & Important Topics

The Commissioner for Entrance Examination (CEE) will conduct the KEAM 2022 exam on July 4, 2022. The exam will be held in two sessions, session 1- Physics & Chemistry exam (from 10 am to 12.30 pm) and session 2- Mathematics (from 2.30 to 5 pm). The students are left with only a few days before the exam and the students should revise smartly during this short period.

The candidates should not revise thoroughly the entire subject wise syllabus, instead their focus should be only on the topics with highest weightage in these last few days. If time permits, then move on to the other topics with comparatively lower weightage. Try to solve more sample papers or full length mock tests everyday. For more detailed tips, go through the following section.

KEAM 2022: Last Minute Preparation Tips

Here are some subject wise last minute preparation tips for KEAM 2022 exam:

  • Make a time table for these last few days and follow it accordingly. Give importance to all the subjects equally
  • The candidates should give extra care for Mathematics. They will get a total of 120 questions solely from Mathematics
  • Candidates focus should be more on practicing algebra, calculus and geometry units
  • Try to practice the formulae on a regular basis in these last few days
  • As per the experts suggestion, the circles and the family of circles seem to be the most important topics in the Geometry unit
  • It can be expected that the candidates will get some direct questions from Trigonometry
  • While revising Physics, the candidates focus should be more on the mechanics of solid and fluids
  • Some of the scoring sections are oscillations, waves and gravitation. Practice those section carefully, so that the candidates get some confirmed score from these sections
  • The questions from heat and thermodynamics can be tricky, hence, there should not be any confusion in the concept of these sections
  • The candidates can get some direct questions from measurements, optics, atomic, nucleus and law of motion
  • Chemistry syllabus is comparatively vast compared to Mathematics and Physics
  • Revise the topics like atomic structure, molecular structure, states of matter and periodic table. Candidates should not get confused between the topics like s-block, p-block, d-block and f-block elements. These sections are scoring as well
  • If the candidates are not confident with the chemical equilibrium questions, then try to solve these at the end, otherwise it will take more time to solve. Better try to solve the easiest questions first, so that you can complete the revision of these chapters very fast\
  • The candidates can also get few easiest questions from Chemical Kinetics, Surface Chemistry and Electrochemistry
  • It is necessary to complete the full length mock tests within time
