• ONGC scholarships- Last date to Apply November 15 - 2015
Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has announced award of 500 scholarships to meritorious SC/ST students worth Rs 48,000 per annum. Out of 500 scholarships, 50 per cent seats are reserved for women candidates (under 30 years). A student of first year of graduate engineering or MBBS courses or first year of masters degree are eligible.

The Department of Chemistry, Bangalore University has been sanctioned a DST-SERB project on computational studies on bimetallic nanoclusters. Candidates with a MSc degree with a mininum of 55 per cent are eligible to apply for one post of JRF/PF. Those who have passed the NET/SLET or GATE qualifying exams will be preferred.

Chevening Scholarships are the UK government’s global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations. The programme provides full or part funding for full-time courses at postgraduate level with a total number of 1,500 scholarship. Applications for Chevening Awards can only be submitted using the Chevening online application system.

To increase the employability NIIT Limited has announced Bhavishya Jyoti scholarship, for meritorious students. Students with 50 per cent in their 12th/graduation can apply for the scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded to the students on the basis of their performance in their XIIth board exams.
