The Union Minister of Education, Dharmendra Pradhan released the seventh edition of NIRF Ranking 2022 on July 15 at 11:00 AM. CollegeDekho has updated the NIRF rankings 2022 for Dental Colleges in this article.
The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) evaluates Indian institutes across multiple parameters, including research and professional practice, teaching-learning and resources, inclusivity and outreach, graduation outcome, and perception. The number of colleges applying for the NIRF ranking this year has increased. The total number of higher educational institutes participating in NIRF 2022 from across India has gone up from 6,272 to 7,254. These rankings are being released across 11 categories and subject domains, including overall, university, college, medicine, engineering, pharmacy, dental, law, etc.
In the year 2021, rankings for the Dental category were released for the second time on the recommendation of the DCI (Dental Council of India). The first rank in NIRF Dental Ranking 2021 was bagged by Manipal College of Dental Sciences followed by Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth in the 2nd position and Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences in the 3rd position.
