UPCATET 2024 Last Minute Preparation Tips

The last-minute Preparation Tips of UPCATET 2024 are suggested below.

Revision- Round-1 Round-2 & Round-3

Candidates must keep in it mind that, at the last moment, revision should be given utmost importance as going through the topics or concepts that are learned is very essential before the examination. Experts say that learning new concepts at the last minute should be avoided as it may bring ambiguity for the preparation. Revising the syllabus of UPCATET 2024 and brushing up on the topics will help the students to recall the concepts and to perform well in the examination. In case the candidates complete the first round of revision, it is suggested that they should go for the second round if possible third-round rather than learning something new. During the revision process, they must make short notes of prep so that they view them on the last day of preparation.

Clarify all your Confusions (Doubts)

As the revision is in full swing, most of the students may get many doubts. Some doubts may puzzle their entire preparation. The candidates are advised to take help from the subject experts or seniors. Clarifying the doubt there and then is very important. Hence, the candidates are suggested to clarify their doubts immediately. If the candidates delay in clarification of their doubts, perplexity will set in the preparation. If that is the case preparation cannot be done properly. Clarifying doubts regarding the subject/ topic/ concept will boost the confidence level of the candidates about that topic which will result in performing well in the examination.

Do not Do Double Duty (Refrain from Overworking)

Most of the candidates, in general, are under the impression of preparing at the last moment by burning the midnight oil. They work strenuously to complete the syllabus and the maximum number of topics at the last minute. Candidates are advised, to start their prep, much early than the commencement of the examination date so that peacefully they can complete learning the concepts and revising them. Working late hours before the examination may lead to health issues. Therefore, the candidate should not be doing the double duty before the exam but start the preparation much before the exam.

Scan the Summaries and Synopsis

As a part of last-minute preparation, candidates can go through the summaries and synopsis of the topics/ concepts, which will help them to recall the subject or topics. It is one of the best ways to re-cap the concepts or topics. The ultimate goal of the candidate preparing for the UPCATET 2022 is to prepare well and come out with flying colours in the examination. The experts say that this is one of the best ways to revise the concepts.

Solve Specimen Papers/ Previous Year Papers/ Mock Tests

The aspirants of UPCATET 2022 must solve the previous year's paper/ specimen papers in order to estimate and understand the question paper and the pattern of the paper. Solving the papers of previous years or practicing the mock test throws light of understanding of what kind of questions have been asked, the marking scheme, and tough topics. This will enable students to work on difficult topics and improve their performance. By refereeing and solving the mock test, the candidate can improve his accuracy and the subject.

Keep yourself- Hale and Hearty

It is very essential for the candidates to be healthy physically and mentally. In order to enjoy good health, especially during the examination, they must take nutritious food and proper rest. Unless and until candidates are healthy preparation cannot go well, if that is the case, performance in the examination will be ruined. Hence, all the candidates are advised to take healthy meals and enough rest. As the examination day approaches, many students feel stressed and pressurised. In order to overcome that candidates must be fit mentally and physically. If the candidates take good rest and have food on time, everything will be fine. Do not be tense but focus on the examination.

Avoid Mobile, Laptop and Tab- Electronic Gadgets

Most people cannot live without electronic gadgets like mobile, tab, laptops, and so on. The gadgets are meant to help us with our daily life. People have become obsessed with them. People are connected virtually rather than in reality nowadays. The candidates must keep in it mind that distractions should be eliminated in order to focus. Candidates should avoid electronic gadgets for entertainment purposes. If mobile or laptop is being used exclusively for the study purpose, that is an exemption for this preparation tip.  But most people are addicted to electronic gadgets and they have become part and parcel of life. Therefore, avoid them for a few days to give rock in the examination.
