Top Tips to Score 120+ Score in WBJEE 2023 Exam

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has scheduled the WBJEE 2023 exam on April 30, 2023. If you are targeting to take admission to Jadavpur University, then you should be focused and must get a 120+ score in the WBJEE exam. For the same, the candidates should start to take preparation accordingly. Before you start the WBJEE 2023 preparation, the candidates should have a good grip on the WBJEE exam pattern 2023. The exam will be held in 2 hours (each for paper 1 and paper 2). The paper 1 exam will be held on Mathematics paper; whereas the paper 2 exams will be held on Physics and Chemistry paper.   • Physics: 40 questions
  • Chemistry: 40 questions
  • Mathematics: 75 questions

Top Tips to Score 120+ Score in WBJEE 2023 Exam

As per the past years' trends, 60% of questions in the WBJEE exam seemed to be moderate; whereas the easy and tough level question, paper’s weightage is 25% and 15% respectively. Hence, try to solve the easy and the moderate questions in a good manner so that there will be a chance of getting 120+ score in the WBJEE exam. Also do not spend much time solving these sections. If one will get 120+ score in WBJEE 2023 exam, then it is confirmed that the student can get a good rank in the exam and can surely get into a top-level institute. 

  • The candidates should solve the JEE Mains previous years' questions, for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics paper. Try to solve the question paper as a mock test, this means the candidates should solve the JEE Mains questions within the time period
  • Also solve WBJEE 2022 question papers, since there is a chance of getting 1-2 similar questions of the last year in this year’s exam 
  • In the WBJEE Mathematics paper, the candidates should give extra focus on solving the Calculus section. It is carrying approximately 40% weightage of the total WBJEE Mathematics syllabus
  • Next, the Algebra section is carrying 30% weightage and the Coordination section carries 20% weightage. Hence, the candidates should practice more to get a good score on the Mathematics paper
  • While you prepare Chemistry paper, the candidates should give equal focus to the Physical, Organic, and Inorganic section since all these sections carry an equal percentage of weightage 
  • Watch the one-shot lectures instead of lengthy lectures for preparing the Chemistry section and can expect a good mark in this
  • Complete the top 5 Mathematics chapters on priority, these chapters are- Definite Integration, Straight line, Application of derivative, Functions and Complex Numbers
  • Also check out the 5 most important chapters of Physics- Electrostatics, Electricity, Magnetic Effect, Ray Optics, and Semi-Conductor
  • Read the formulas on a regular basis
  • Do not skip any chapter
  • Solve the sample papers and mock tests as many as you can, which in turn helps you to increase the accuracy and speed of solving the paper. It is very important to complete the entire question paper on time so that there will be a chance of getting 120+ marks
