The candidates need to check all the details that are printed on admit card carefully.
As per GATE 2017 examination schedule, the applicants can download the admit card for GATE 2017 from January 5, 2017. The candidates must be aware that the admit card will not be dispatched by post or sent via e-mail. Therefore, the candidates will have to log in to the official site of GATE for downloading the admit card. Downloading admit card without entering registration ID, and password is not possible.

The candidates need to check all the details that are printed on admit card carefully. In case the candidates find any discrepancies on the admit card, they need to consult the concerned authority immediately. The applicants need to understand that they need to take the coloured printout of admit card. Carrying a valid photo ID along with GATE 2017 admit card to the examination centre is mandatory.

Preserving admit card until the completion of the examination process is mandatory. The admit card might be asked to submit at the time of counselling process as well as at the time of recruitment by PSUs.
GATE 2017 examination is going to be carried out on February 4, 5, 11 & 12, 2017. Meanwhile, the candidates can take mock tests of GATE 2017 on the official website of Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. Experts say that taking mock tests before the actual examination will make the candidates understand their capabilities and manage the time. This year, IIT-Roorkee rejected 263 applications of GATE 2017 applicants as they do not have the necessary qualification and eligibility to appear for GATE 2017 examination.
