Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar's Curiosity lab is organizing a camp called 'Camp Inspire' for students of classes 8 to 12 as well as for parents, teachers, and education scholars to inspire, motivate exploration, and build interest. The dates for Camp Inspire are June 3 to 5, 2022. Covetous candidates can visit the official website- curiositylab.iitgn.ac.in/camp to register themselves for this camp.

An official statement from IIT Gandhinagar said that in this session, students will hear the stories of successful people who have taken on new and exciting careers. It is their intention to help students discover how inspiration can come from anywhere, perhaps from a person, a book, or a movement. They also want to show them where to look for inspiring stories. Often, one does not hear from the person who lived through the story. Many of the inspirations people receive were once their inspirational sources.

Filmmaking workshops and competitions will culminate the camp. A workshop by Keerthi Raj B S titled "Stories through visuals: The art of filmmaking" will cover storytelling fundamentals and how to use available supplies to tell engaging audiovisual stories. The participants can also win a prize by submitting their film to Camp Inspire 2022. A cash award of Rs. 10,000 will be given out for three films produced by school students.

IIT Gandhinagar, through Camp Inspire, brings together some remarkable students who have taken unique paths and decided to follow their passion regardless of adversity. The purpose is to conduct scientific research to discover a way to improve student curiosity while learning.

Professor Jaison A Manjaly, Principal Investigator at Curiosity Lab said this while highlighting the unique aspects of Camp Inspire, "Curiosity Camps offer an opportunity for students, teachers, and parents to witness stories of inspiring individuals that may encourage them to follow their passions and make a positive change in society".

It is very rare today for students, parents, and teachers to be aware of and appreciate the opportunities that lie ahead for them in Arts and Humanities, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Medicine), and entrepreneurship. These possibilities are presented to students, teachers, and parents by the Curiosity Lab.
