What Next after XAT 2022 Results?
Once the candidate clears the XAT result, he/she must start preparing for the upcoming selection rounds. In case, a candidate does not score well, he should check out other possible options. They can appear for other entrance exams, look for private institutes, or find a suitable job. Meanwhile, some candidates also decide to prepare for XAT next year. The candidate must choose the option that best suits his interest.

Apply for Admission to Colleges Accepting XAT Scores
While XAT is organized by Xavier School of Management (XLRI), Jamshedpur, all the XAT 2022 participating colleges have separate admission processes. Qualifying students will have to compare their scores with the cutoff released by the institutes. And based on it, they can fill the application forms.
Selected candidates will then have to appear for the GD-PI and WAT rounds. Only after qualifying all the rounds, the final merit list will be declared. Students who qualify all the rounds can take admissions in their respective colleges. The candidates will be eligible for admissions only to the colleges they appear for the GD and PI WAT rounds.

XAT 2022 Selection Process: GD-PIWAT Rounds
The XAT entrance exam is just the first step in the process. It is further followed by the Group Discussion (GD), Writing Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. Candidates will have to appear for all the rounds, to be selected for MBA or PGDM Courses. The selection process starts immediately after the declaration of the results. Here are some tips for the preparation:
- Candidates must read current affairs, newspapers, general knowledge books, and study materials to prepare for group discussion and personal interview rounds.
- If possible, candidates should take part in workshops and group discussions. It helps in boosting the confidence of the candidates
- Speak with senior or experienced people who have attempted or cleared the PI rounds of XAT. They will be in a better position to guide you through the process.
- For GD and WAT, topics could be diverse and uncommon. Therefore, try to prepare for abstract topics, case-based topics, or social/economic/political happenings.
- Candidates must go through the checklist before the PI rounds: Formal Dress code, Documents to carry along, and other specifics.

Apart from XAT 2022, there are other entrance exams that candidates can appear for. They can fill the application forms and appear for them. The admission process is similar to that of XAT.
