S.N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences, Kolkata has issued a notice for annual Summer Research Project 2019. Students in M.Sc with good academic track records are invited to apply.
Like every year, this year also the notice for Summer Research Project has been issued by S.N. Bose National Centre of Basic Science (SNBNCFBS) Kolkata. The 8-week program of research under S.N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences has invited applicants for applying through e-mail they provided in the notice.
SN Bose National Centre of Basic Sciences Summer Research Project Admissions
- The summer research project of 2019 by SN Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences will start from May and will continue till July. The project will commence from 1st May 2019. The official notice has urged people to write to srp@bose.resin to convey their interest in the project. It has also asked people to specify the faculty member they want to work with.
- The application can also be made online by writing a letter to Visitor, Associates & Students' Programme (VASP).
- The students who have a good academic track record can apply for the project in any of the mentioned methods above.
- However, in both cases, seeking the consent of an associate faculty member is mandatory. Students can reach to them in person or over the phone. The faculty list and their contact details are given on the official website. Students can get the contact details of faculties associated with their field of research.
SN Bose National Centre of Basic Sciences Summer Research Project Eligibility
- There are certain eligibility criteria imposed for the research project in SN Bose National Centre of Basic Sciences. Students of M.Sc studying in the first or second year are eligible for applying in the project.
- Also, students pursuing Integrated M.Sc in 4th or 5th year in Physical, Chemical (including Biochemistry, Biophysics, Chemical Biology and Nanotechnology) and Mathematical Sciences (with Applied Mathematics included) are eligible to apply.

Approved students' list for Research Program will be released on the official website of the institute.
The last date of application for the project is set on 24th March 2019.
