Many candidates who have registered for CAT 2020 have requested that the exam be postponed due to COVID-19. However, the convenor of CAT 2020, Harshal Lowalekar has clarified that the exam will not be postponed.

 

Will CAT 2020 Be Postponed?

Latest Update: Many students who have registered for CAT 2020 requested for postponement of the exam due to COVID-19. However, CAT 2020 convenor, Harshal Lowalekar has confirmed that the exam will not be postponed. It will be held on November 29 as scheduled.

CAT is one of the most popular MBA entrance exams in the world. More than 2 lakh aspirants apply for CAT every year and give it their best shot to get into their desired MBA college in India.

CAT 2020 notification was released on July 29, 2020, and CAT 2020 will be conducted on November 29, 2020, by IIM Indore and CAT 2020 result will be declared on January 5, 2021, as per the current schedule. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the schedule of MBA entrance exams has been disrupted and the MBA admission process has been thrown off tracks.

The trend is not limited to these, JEE Main was also postponed and an updated schedule for NEET was also declared. In such a scenario, it was but natural for students to wonder if CAT 2020 will be postponed.

Will CAT 2020 Be Postponed?

CAT 2020 convenor has stated that the exam will not be postponed and will be conducted on November 29, 2020. CAT is the most widely-accepted MBA entrance exam in India. It is the only exam accepted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). Many other top MBA colleges in India also base their admission on CAT cutoff score.

With no change in the CAT 2020 schedule, the students must now look at some of the last-minute tips to crack CAT 2020 as the exam is just around the corner.

Will CAT 2020 Be Cancelled?

CAT 2020 cancellation is out of the question now. This would have been a possibility earlier if the circumstances would have been dire. Anyway, cancellation of CAT 2020 would have spelt disaster for the students who had been religiously preparing for the exam.
