Karnataka Polytechnic Admission 2023 - The Department of Technical Education Karnataka administers the Polytechnic admissions in the state of Karnataka. It operates 170 private, 85 government, and 44 subsidised polytechnic colleges apart from 13 government and 9 subsidised engineering colleges. The primary function of the Directorate is to develop technical education for eligible candidates through technical examinations. The department issues diploma certificates to the students who have passed their Diploma courses. Apart from this, the Department also conducts the examinations for the same.

Karnataka Polytechnic Merit List 2023 has been prepared separately for various categories. Candidates must report for counselling on the basis of rank. Follow these steps to view the Karnataka Polytechnic Merit List 2023:

Karnataka Polytechnic Counselling Process 2023
Following the release of the merit list, candidates must participate in the counselling process. The counselling will take place at the Nodal Centre in an offline format. It will be launched in an online format. Participation in the counselling process is required of all qualified candidates. At the nodal centres, candidates' documentation should be verified. Candidates will be contacted for counselling based on their rank.

Karnataka Polytechnic Eligibility Criteria 2023
The eligibility criteria for Karnataka Polytechnic Admission 2023 are listed below. In order to pursue a polytechnic in Karnataka, candidates will have to meet the following entry criteria. Upon failing to meet the entry requirements for Karnataka Polytechnic 2023, candidates will not be allowed to apply for the programmes.
The candidate should qualify as an Indian citizen.
The aspirant should either have passed the Karnataka Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) or an equivalent examination with at least 35 percent marks.
The applicant should have studied in Karnataka from grade 1 for a minimum of 5 years from SSLC or PUC board.
As of now, there is no age limit for Karnataka Polytechnic admission 2023.
The eligibility criteria for a non-engineering diploma course in Karnataka is quite similar to the criteria mentioned above.
For diploma in Modern Office Management, Fabrication and Apparel Design Technology and Commercial Practice, candidates are required to complete SSLC examination or equivalent in Karnataka with at least 35 percent marks.
For Library Science and Information Management, candidates should have scored at least 35 percent marks aggregate in the secondary PUC examination or equivalent in Karnataka.
