The Mumbai University (MU) Department of Communication and Journalism has closed the mass communication application form for the 2021 academic session. Candidates interested in applying for the MU can fill-up the form via visiting the official website of the university. The entrance exam is conducted for admission to  MA in communication and journalism, MA in public relations, MA in electronic media, and MA in film and television studies.

The eligibility criteria for Mumbai University Mass Communication admission is as follows:

  • Candidates must have secured a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of three-year duration from any recognised university.

  • Must have qualified for the entrance exam.

Mumbai University Mass Communication Application Form 2021

The application form for Mumbai University Mass Communication can only be filled in online mode. Here are the steps you need to follow in order to fill the application form

  • Visit the Mumbai University official website i.e.mu.ac.in
  • The first step is to register by entering your name, fathers name, mother name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, email address etc.

  • After entering all the details click on “accept” and move to the next step

  • You get 16 digit enrollment number/PRN

  • Use Enrollment number/PRN no. to fill Mumbai University pre-admission form. 

  • While filling the admission form you need to provide your Personal details, Educational details, Contact details, Permanent and mailing addresses, Reservation, Photo, Signature etc.

  • After filling the admission form, click on “confirm profile details.”

  • Select the course in which you want to apply

  • And choose types such as an in-house seat or minority seat

  • After selecting your prefered college and course of choice.

  • Upload the documents in support of your Mumbai University mass comm 2021 application.

  • To print your application form, click on the 'Print application form' tab.

  • Finally pay the application fees. It can be paid both in online/offline mode.

Applicants who are seeking admission to the mass communication program of Mumbai University must undergo a high - intensity test process which includes written examination, group discussion and personal interview.

The result will be compiled in the form of merit lists and published online on the university’s official website: mu.ac.in.
