CMAT 2021 was successfully conducted in 2 shifts on March 31. Shift 1 was held from 9 am-12 pm and Shift 2 was conducted from 3 pm to 6 pm/ 6:30 pm. More than 70,000 candidates applied for CMAT this year and reported the difficulty level of the exam as moderate. The CMAT result has been released on the official website of the exam on April 9 and the latest information regarding the same is shared in the links provided below.

CMAT 2021 also saw an introduction of an optional section, namely, ‘Innovation and Entrepreneurship’. It comprised 25 questions carrying 4 marks each. Applicants who opted for this section were provided with an additional 30 minutes to wind up their exam.
This year, CMAT had around 3-4 wrong questions in the 2nd shift. There were a few erroneous questions in the Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning and Language Comprehension sections. As per the opinion of experts and feedback from students, one question from input-output and one from blood relations were completely incorrect.

Candidates are waiting for the objection window to open up so that they can raise the issue. They are expecting to get grace marks for the incorrect questions. The conducting body of the exam, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the CMAT response sheet soon and aspiring candidates will get the opportunity to raise objections for the incorrect questions. The exam authorities will check the issues, verify them and will generate a revised answer key targeting the same. If the questions are found out to be incorrect, grace marks will be awarded to the students.
