RTMNU offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma courses across disciplines like MBA, LLB, MA, BSc, BA, B.Pharma, etc. The varsity has a total student count of 3730 enrolled at their various affiliated colleges. A centralized admission process is adopted to help student enrol in their preferred courses. There are four notable departments in the varsity:

• Faculty of Humanities: It is dedicated to students willing to pave the academic path to arts and humanities. This faculty is divided into 16 core departments including political science, public administration, ancient Indian culture, sociology, and psychology among others.

RTMNU offers a friendly and conducive environment that helps learners grow in academic life. Though the campus has all the facilities, however, the cafeteria turns too crowded during peak hours which often creates a nuisance.

RTMNU’s Internships & Placements

Rastrasant Tukadoji Nagpur University or RTMNU strives to provide the best possible employment opportunities to students through a placement and carer development cell. Unlike other institutes that conduct pre-placement training in the final year of a course’s session, this varsity begins the training from 1st year. 

Internship:

The varsity organizes summer internship programs that empower students to enhance their professional skills. It allows them an opportunity to gain industry exposure which enhances the success rate of students getting placed during recruitment drives. One of the prime focuses of these programs is helping learners enhance soft skills, aptitude, reasoning, decision-making capability, and interview skills. Internship offers have been made by top companies like HCL, Mahindra & Mahindra, etc.

Placement:

According to the placement report 2022, some of the reputed companies made offers to UG and PG students. Out of 182 UG batch strengths, 220 students were found to be eligible for the campus interview, and 89 students bagged a median salary package of INR 7,50,000 per annum.
