Is Physics and Chemistry Still Part of NATA Syllabus 2023?
From the above discussion, we can conclude that the NATA is an Aptitude test that assesses the innate ability of a candidate which can’t be taught, learnt or induced in anyone. NATA 2023 question paper may have a few questions from Physics as specified in the brochure and however there will be no questions from Chemistry.
Why has NATA Syllabus been Revised?
For the Academic year 2022-2023, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) issued a handbook stating, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are now no longer mandatory to study for students seeking admission in Architecture Courses at the undergraduate level. Keeping in view this aspect, CoA has completely removed Chemistry from the syllabus of NATA. However, in the NATA Information Brochure 2023, CoA has mentioned it clearly that questions could be asked in various topics that assess candidates on basic concepts in Mathematics, Physics and few other areas.
How has NATA Syllabus Changed over the Years?
As mentioned, back in 2020, candidates taking the NATA exam had to study Chemistry as part of the NATA syllabus.
