About Export Manager

An Export Manager serves as the mediator between domestic sellers and foreign buyers. The main work of the Export Manager is to find buyers in the international market for the domestic manufacturer that employ them. He coordinates and plans the international shipment of goods and supplies. During the day, Export Managers may negotiate with a variety of people, such as agents, shippers and vendors. He is also responsible for hiring and training the international department staff. Besides this, he will also have to ensure that shipments comply with the laws and regulations regulating the export industry. A good Export Manager is expected to have good customer service skills in dealing with customers.
