Documents Required to Fill CUET 2024 Application Form

Admission into all UG Programmes in all Central Universities, State Universities, and Private Universities will be done through CUET 2024 exam for the academic session 2024-25 under the Ministry of Education, (MoE). CUET will provide a common platform and equal opportunities to candidates across India, especially those from rural and other remote areas, and help establish a better connection with the Universities.CUET 2024 will be conducted by the National Testing Agency. 

CUET 2024 application form will be released by the National Testing Agency soon. The CUET exam 2024 will be conducted from May 15 to May 31, 2024. Common University Entrance Test (CUET) registration process commences in the month of February 2024.

The number of participating Central Universities in the Common University Entrance Test is 45. Along with these Central Universities, there are other private, deemed, and state Universities also taking part in CUET 2024. NTA has released the list of examination cities along with the information brochure. NTA clearly states that it has a right two merge one, two, or more cities. NTA has given an opportunity to select 4 cities while filling up the application form. The liberty is given to the applicants to select the cities of their own choice and convenience.

Instructions to Upload Documents in CUET 2024 Application Form

Listed below are the instructions to upload documents in CUET 2024 application form

• Candidates who would like to appear for CUET 2024, while filling up the application form must upload certain images and documents.
• Applicants must upload the scanned recent photograph of the applicant and scanned signature.
• The scanned photograph and signature of the applicant should be either in JPG or JPEG format and they should be clearly visible.
• The photograph can be between 10 kb to 200 kb in size whereas the signature could be between 4 kb to 30 kb.
• Along with scanned images, candidates must upload also the certificates of Class-X and Category and PWD certificates if applicable.
• All the certificates that applicants must upload must be in PDF format and the size of the PDFs should be between 50 kb to 300 kb
• Candidates should not upload the other students/candidates` photographs, signatures, or certificates. If it is found out then it is considered an Unfair Means of Practice.

Once the candidates have filled in all the details in the application form, they can proceed to the uploading of the documents. They can click on the documents uploading option provided in the application form. Candidates are advised to check the application process as well as the specifications of documents before filling the application form. How to Scan the Photograph & Signature for CUET 2024 Registration?

Check the steps provided below to scan the signature and photograph for CUET 2024 registration

• Set the Color to True Color

• Set the scanner resolution to only 200 dpi (dots per inch)

• Choose the file Size as provided above.

• Crop the image in the scanner to the edge of the photograph/ signature, then use the upload editor to crop the image to the final size 

Candidates should note that they can resize the signature and photograph file using the MS Paint or MS Office Picture Manager. They can also change the format of the file using Microsoft Paint.
