GITAM Vizag Admission Procedure

GITAM University has three campuses in Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru, and provides undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, certificate, and PhD programmes. BTech, BSc, BBA, BCA, MSc, MCA, and MBA are amongst the most popular GITAM Vizag courses. Admission to GITAM Visakhapatnam takes place through the university-level entrance exam GAT (GITAM Admission Test), which is a computer-based online test administered in various locations across India. For many programmes, GITAM Vizag also accepts the scores of national/state-level entrance exams such as JEE Main for B.Tech programme, CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT for MBA programme, NATA for B.Arch, and UGC NET for PhD programme.

GITAM Vizag courses are offered in Engineering, Management, Architecture, Science, Arts, Law, Education, Medicine, Paramedical Sciences, Pharmacy, and other fields. Apart from regular courses, GITAM Visakhapatnam courses also provides distance education through the Centre for Distance Learning (CDL), which has been authorised by the UGC-AICTE-DEC Joint Committee.

Candidates must first ensure that they meet the required eligibility criteria for the relevant courses as part of the GITAM Vizag admission procedure.
Then, for the various courses, eligible applicants must take the GITAM Admission Test (GAT).
