How to Ace IPMAT Rohtak

IPMAT or IPM Aptitude Test will be conducted by IIM Rohtak on May 20, 2023 from 9 am in computer-based test mode. The exam will be held for 120 minutes. Test takers will be provided with admission to IPMAT 2023 based on scores in the test and Personal Interview (PI). The question paper will be comprised of a total of 50 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and 10 Short Answer-Type Questions. Aspirants failing to appear in either the IPMAT test or PI round will not be considered for the selection process.

IPMAT preparation, like other entrance exams, will be a blend of smart work and hard work. Candidates must focus on practicing questions from Quantitative Ability Skills and Verbal Skills during their exam preparation. Try solving IPMAT 2023 previous year's question papers to get familiar with the questions and test pattern. IPMAT 2023 Test-Taking Strategy

A good exam strategy is crucial to scoring well in the examination. Candidates can find the list of pointers that will help them solve the questions in the entrance exam without any complexity. Each individual's preparation game might vary. Therefore, plan your study accordingly and try to complete your scheduled tasks well before time.

Revise Important Topics a Night Before

Test takers appearing for IPMAT 2023 by IIM Rohtak must take a look at all the important questions from the verbal ability and quantitative section a night before the exam. IT will build their confidence and also will be easier for them to solve questions from the given topics fastly.  Also, try taking up mock tests and practicing at least 2 to 3 questions from each topic prescribed below.

Pay Attention to Sectional Time Limit 

IIM Rohtak has introduced the sectional limit in IPMAT 2023. Test takers are required to complete all three sections within the stipulated time of 40 minutes. The IPMAT test will examine the aspirant’s Logical Reasoning, Aptitude, and English Proficiency. Also, attempt the questions carefully as each incorrect question will deduct 1 mark.

Selection of Questions

The candidates can't attempt all the questions in IPMAT 2023 owing to negative markings. Moreover, the question paper is expected to be slightly difficult. Hence, it is essential to attempt the questions wisely. Try attempting the section you have a good command of. For example- If the candidate is good at vocabulary then try finishing the section and take another section to which you can give more time, it increases the confidence level for completing the other set of questions.

Take Calculated Risk

Candidates must be aware of their strengths and weaknesses while attempting the question paper. It is advised to not make rough estimates or wild guesses. In the Quantitative ability section, it is a little easier to guess than in the verbal ability section. Therefore, it is essential to take the calculated risk because there can be times you might not get any particular solution.

Don't Struggle at the Last Moment

There may be times when you can get stuck while solving a particular question you are good at. So do not waste your time, try solving the other question and come back if you are left with some time afterward. Candidates must ensure to complete all the questions timely to avoid the last-minute hustle.

Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) is a comprehensive management programme that aims at building young talented minds into successful leaders and managers. After successful completion of this five-year programme candidates will be given an MBA degree by IIM Rohtak. Candidates must ensure to have at least 5 CGPA  in the last two years of the programme to be eligible for an MBA degree. In case any student wants to exit in the third year of the programme, will be eligible for a BBA degree. 

The overall IPMAT programme consists of a total of 15 terms, where a year has three terms of 3 months. The first year primarily focuses on the Foundation course, while the second year is on management. The final merit list for the IPMAT exam 2023 will be released based on the aptitude test score, Personal interview, and past academics.
