The examination is conducted on Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. As the exam is approaching CollegeDekho presents a collection of tips given by various experts to secure a good rank in the POLYCET.
Importance must be given to Mathematics-Mr. Samba Siva Rao, Senior Mathematics Faculty, Guntur;
Mr.M.A Srinivasa Rao a senior Mathematics faculty said that “Students have to spend more time on mathematics as the weightage for Mathematics is 60 Marks. All the questions will be objective type and there is no negative mark for the wrong answer. Students must be in a position to answer the bit within a couple of minutes. This needs continuous practice. Students have to practice shortcut methods to find the answer quickly. The following chapters from 10th class mathematics textbook must be practice thoroughly;
- Real Numbers
- Polynomials
- Trigonometry
- Statistics
- Mensuration and
- Multiple numbers
Reading of Physics textbook thoroughly Gives Success - Mrs. P.Shailaja, Senior Physics Lecturer, Vijayawada
Mrs.P.Shailaja, Senior Physics Faculty, Vijayawada said that “The weightage of Physics is for 40 Marks. All the bits are objective and there is no negative mark for wrong answers. Students must be thorough with the chapters of 10th class. The important chapters are;
- Heat
- Reflection of light rays
- Circulation of Electricity and
- Magnetic principles
Apart from the above chapters, students must be thorough with the other chapters also. But the above-mentioned chapters must be read thoroughly.
Less syllabus in Chemistry makes the Exam Easy-Ch. Srinivas, Chemistry Lecturer, Vijayawada
Mr.CH.Srinivas, lecturer in Chemistry said that “The weightage for Chemistry is 40 Marks and all the bits are objective with no negative marks. As the syllabus is very fewer students must be thorough with the chapters like;
- Chemical Bonding
- Carbon Chemistry and
- Chemical metals.
If the students are thorough with these three chapters they will do well in the examination as most of the bits will be given from these chapters.
Mr.S.BalaKrishna, Former Teacher, ZPHS, Atmakur, said that “Students have to make short notes from the lessons they have studied. They have to read, understand and analyze the topic.
