MHT CET 2020: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has released the dates for MHT CET 2020 which will be conducted from October 1 to 20, 2020. MHT CET 2020 is a state-level entrance exam whih\ch is conducted in order to select the candidates for admission to B.Tech and B.Pharma courses in various colleges of Maharashtra. As the exam is scheduled to be conducted between the Pandemic, there are certain instructions prescribed by the Maharashtra government. All the candidates who have applied for the MHT CET 2020 exam will have to strictly follow the given instructions for the exam day.

MHT CET 2020 Exam Day Guidelines

Listed below are some of the important exam day guidelines which the candidates must follow for the MHT CET 2020 exam:

1. Do not Forget Your Admit Card

It is mandatory for all the candidates to carry the MHT CET Admit Card to the examination hall. Without admit card, no candidates will be allowed to sit in the exam. Hence, it is advisable to download at least 3-4 copies of your MHT CET admit card and keep it carefully for your exam. Also, remember to bring only the hard copies of the admit card to the exam centres.

2. Always carry a valid Photo Identity Card

Just like the admit card, the candidates must also bring a valid photo identity card to the MHT CET exam hall. Only after the verification of the photo identity card will the students be allowed for the exam. You can carry an Adhaar card, PAN card, Voter ID, or any other government-issued identity to the exam.

3. Be on Time

DO NOT be late for the exam. There are various pre-examination activities which the candidates will have to attend such as document verification, seating arrangements, etc. Thus, It is always advisable to reach the exam centre at least half & hour before the prescribed time.

4. Check your Seating Arrangements

When you reach the exam hall, the very first things which you must do id to check your seating arrangements. checking your seating plan at the last minute can be hectic as there will be a large number of students waiting for it. This can also make you late for the exam. So, to avoid wasting your time. Always check your seating arrangement in advance.

5. Adhere to the Invigilator Instructions

Carefully listen to the instructions given by the invigilator and follow it. Not listening to the instructions can lead to confusion and you may miss out on something important. In case of any doubt, do not hesitate to ask the exam invigilator.

6. Do not Cheat in Exam

Do not indulge in any bad practices such as cheating, peeking into other’s systems, etc. This may lead to the cancellation of your exam. Focus on your own paper.

7. Use sheet for Rough Work

Always use your rough sheet to do the calculations. Do not bring your own sheet or write anywhere else. Only use the sheets provided by the exam invigilator.

MHT CET 2020 Documents Required

There are certain documents which the candidates must bring to the MHT CET exam hall. The documents will be verified by the exam invigilator before allowing the candidates to sit for the exam. The candidates without these documents will not be allowed for the test. Thus, make sure you pack all the given documents a day before the MHT CET 2020 exam:

  1. MHT CET 2020 admit Card

  2. A government-issued valid photo identity card which can be either of the following:

  • Student Identity Card

  • Driving license

  • Aadhaar card

  • Passport

  • PAN card

  • Voter ID

MHT CET 2020 COVID-19 Instructions

Since the MHT CET 2020 exam will be conducted in between the COIVID-19 pandemic, there are certain stringent rules which every candidate will have to follow. The MHT CET 2020 COVID-19 instructions are listed below:

  • All the candidates must visit the exam centre on time. No candidates will be allowed to enter the hall after the prescribed time.

  • No candidate will be allowed to leave the exam hall before the closing time. Only one student at a time will be allowed to leave the exam room.

  • The candidates must download, fill, sign, and bring the COVID-19 declaration form along with the admit card to the exam hall.

  • Only after the touchless frisking process through  Handheld Metal Detector (HHMD), the students will be allowed to enter the room.

  • All the candidates must wear masks and bring hand sanitizer to the examination hall. The students will be provided fresh masks at the hall after which they have to throw their old masks and wear the new ones.

  • The candidates must maintain a distance of 6 feet from each other and no crowding at one place will be allowed.

  • After the exam is over, the candidates are required to drop their admit cards and rough sheet in the dropbox as advised.

  • In case any student is found violating the COVID-19 advisories, he/she will not be allowed to sit for the exam.
