Aspirants looking for M.A. admission to Mumbai University have to pass the following eligibility criteria.

• For M.A General Admission, candidates must hold a B.A. degree in a relevant stream
• The candidates must have the minimum qualifying marks in BA degree as specified by the university

Mumbai University M.A. Application Form 2022

Mumbai University MA application form 2022 is to be announced soon. Aspirants seeking admission need to fill in the application form online. Candidates must register before logging in to the Mumbai University portal.

• First, open the “Pre-Admission Online Registration” registration page of the official website of Mumbai University. Go to: https://uom-admissions.mu.ac.in/
• Provide your authentic details (Email id and Mobile Number) and click on Get OTP. Make sure you use the same email id and mobile number throughout the program.
• After entering the OTP, click on verify button. If you have entered the correct OTP, you will get a successful login Message and you will be redirected to the Student Dashboard Page to check eligibility criteria. You can search and select the programme of your choice and check them carefully. You can see the prospectus and syllabus uploaded by the department.
• After going through the eligibility criteria, you can now create your profile by clicking on the “My Profile” tab in the side menu.
• You must fill in all the details in the relevant tabs like “Personal Details”, “Education Details”, “Upload Documents”.
• You can set your profile photo and upload the signature in the personal details section in a jpg, png, or jpeg file format with a size less than 500 KB.
• In the “Declaration” tab, you must select the check box and then click “Final Submit”.
• After completing the “My Profile” Tab, you can now select the “Apply for Programmes” tab in the side menu.
• You can apply for multiple programmes and pay an application fee of Rs. 100 for each programme for which you are applying. You can’t edit our profile once you have filled in the application form.  However, if departments return the forms due to any discrepancy only then only you can edit your profile and click on reapply button.
• Registration fee of Rs. 100 (per application) must be paid through a Demand Draft in favour of “The Finance and Accounts Officer, University of Mumbai”.
• After successful payment, payment status turns green and shows a success message. You can download fee receipts and view your applications.

Eligibility Certificate (If applicable): You need to attach an Eligibility certificate if you belong to any other University other than Mumbai University.

You need to approach the Registrar of the University or any of its registered colleges to obtain the Eligibility Certificate by paying a nominal fee amount.

Mumbai University M.A Merit List 2022

Here is how the merit list of the students is displayed on the official portal of Mumbai University.

• You can see your application status by clicking on the “Application Status Tab” under the “My Applied Programmes” section as rejected, verified, or approved.
• Once the respective department approves the application, they will initially display the provisional merit list. Then once the final merit list is displayed and if your name is in the list, you can see the admission payment button and proceed with the admission payment process.
• There are 2 payment options available: 1 Payment of the full fees in a single instalment and 2. Payment in four instalments on tuition fees according to the circular.
• After the successful payment of admission fees, you can download the receipts.
