NTA or the National Testing Agency will be granting admission to BSc Nursing courses to students who will be appearing for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET 2022) marks. Registration for NEET 2022 was closed on May 21 and on the grounds of the details submitted, NTA will be releasing the admit card through their official website. NEET UG 2022 will be conducted on July 17, 2022, via pen and paper mode for gaining admission to BSc Nursing along with MBBS, BDS, AYUSH and veterinary seats.

NEET-UG is a national-level entrance exam for undergraduate medical programmes like MBBS, BDS, BVSc and AYUSH courses. The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced earlier this year that NEET scores would now be considered for admissions to BSc Nursing, with the goal of improving nursing courses education quality. B.Sc Nursing Eligibility Criteria for NEET 2022

For B.Sc nursing admission through NEET, candidates must have completed a 10+2 level of education from a recognised board of education. Qualifications include a primary education in physics, chemistry, or biology, as well as good physical and mental health. In order to be eligible for the NEET exam, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • The minimum age requirement for the BSc Nursing programme is 17 years, with a maximum age limit of 35 years.

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 with physics, chemistry, and biology, as well as English as their main subjects.

  • Candidates must have secured at least 45% of total marks from any recognized educational board.

  • The minimum percentage of marks required in Class 12 may differ depending on the university or institution.

  • Those who finished high school from state open schools recognised by the state government and the National Institute of Open School (NIOS) in the science stream with English as their main subject are also eligible to apply for the BSc Nursing programme.

  • Candidates belonging to SC, ST, or OBC categories must secure at least 40% in PCB with English as their compulsory subject.

  • Candidates must have passed the NEET entrance test and meet the cut-off scores.

  • Candidates must be medically fit at the time of admission.

NEET BSc Nursing Application Form 2022

Aspirants should register for NEET 2022 for BSc nursing admission as soon as possible, ideally, and it goes without saying, before the deadline. For that, candidates will have to follow the steps explained below.

  • To apply for NEET-UG 2022, candidates must first register at the NEET official website i.e 

  • After logging in, candidates will be required to fill out their personal details and contact information on the registration page.

  • The next after the registration would be filling out the B.Sc Nursing 2022 application form. 

  • The NEET application requires information such as academic qualifications, parent information, caste category, nationality, exam city preference and question paper language preference.

  • Aspirants must next upload the relevant documents for the NEET 2022 application. To avoid rejection of the NEET-UG application form, the photos must be uploaded according to the authority's standards.

  • The application fee for NEET 2022 BSc nursing must be paid online with a debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI. After a successful payment, a confirmation page will appear.

  • Candidates must take a printout of the completed NEET UG application form for BSc nursing admission 2022 after completing the process.

B.Sc Nursing Exam Pattern for NEET 2022

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the NEET exam pattern as well as an information brochure. The most recent NEET exam pattern includes 200 questions, in which applicants need to answer 180 questions. The questions in the NEET exam are divided into two sections: Section A and Section B. BSc Nursing Admission through NEET 2022- Official Confirmation

According to the official notification released by the NTA, “The Result of NEET (UG) - 2022 may be utilised by other Entities of Central and State Governments, in accordance with their respective eligibility criteria/ other norms/ applicable regulations/guidelines/rules. The result data will also be utilised for B.Sc. (H) Nursing courses in accordance with their respective eligibility criteria/other norms/ applicable regulations/ guidelines/rules”.
