GBPUAT BSc Agriculture Admission 2024: GBPUAT BSc Agriculture entrance exam 2024 will be conducted in June, 2024 by Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT). GBPUAT Result 2024 will be released soon after the Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology Exam. GBPUAT 2024 counselling process will be initiated by the university after that very soon.

Founded in 1960, the Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT) is a public university situated in Uttarakhand. It consists of eight colleges that have received approval from the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is a member of All India Universities (AIU). With a total of 14 research centres and more than 100 departments, GBPUAT provides a wide range of educational opportunities. The university offers an extensive selection of courses, including undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs, encompassing various disciplines such as Commerce, Arts, Management, and more.

GBPUAT BSc Agriculture Eligibility 2024

Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology Pantnagar offers admissions to B.Sc and B.F.Sc courses at the UG level. For admission to GBPUAT Pantnagar candidates have to appear for an entrance test. This entrance examination is conducted by the university itself. Those who fulfill the eligibility criteria need to apply for admission to the university. Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology Pantnagar admissions are confirmed after verification of documents and payment of fees. GBPUAT Pantnagar admission process is given below.

GBPUAT BSc Agriculture Seats 2024

BSc (Hons) Agriculture has 130 UA Domicile seats and 26 payment seats. (Please note that for undergraduate programs, bonafide residents of Uttarakhand are eligible for normal as well as payment seats whereas other state candidates are eligible for payment seats only.)

However, 50% of payments seats for UG programs will be reserved for other state candidates. If other state candidates for payment seats are not available to fill up the seats, the same will be filled through bonafide residents of Uttarakhand and vice-versa. For payment seats, the candidates will have to pay the program fee in addition to the university routine fee.

GBPUAT BSc Agriculture Reservation 2024

The reservation policy of GBPUAT BSc Agriculture Admission 2024 is as follows

(a) Vertical Reservations 

(i) The vertical reservation for the academic year 2024-2024 will be as under:

                   (i) OBC - 14% 

                   (ii) Scheduled Caste - 19% 

                   (iii) Scheduled Tribes - 04% 

(b) Horizontal Reservations: 

Out of reservation applicable to different categories, the horizontal reservation in Undergraduate programs only in these categories shall be as under: 

(i) Children of retired/killed or disabled Defence Personnel of Uttarakhand 2 % 

(ii) Children of Freedom Fighters of Uttarakhand 2 % 

(iii) Physically Handicapped of Uttarakhand having disability 40% or above 3 % 

(iv) Women Candidates of Uttarakhand 30 % (Reservation shall be implemented as per G.O. of Uttarakhand State.) 

Note: Only vertical reservations will be applied to the 50% payment seats in each UG programme that are allocated for bonafide Uttarakhand residents. There will be no horizontal reservations for payment seats. Seats earmarked for applicants from other states will be handled as general, with no reservation.

GBPUAT BSc Agriculture Counselling 2024

The university will conduct online counseling for all programs (UG/Masters/MCA/Ph.D.) after the results are declared. The dates for different counseling rounds will be determined based on the start date of the first semester of the academic session 2024-25. These dates will be posted on the university's website (www.gbpuat.org.in) along with the list of eligible candidates for each round. Candidates are advised to regularly check the university's website for counseling dates. No separate letters or emails will be sent to candidates regarding counseling.

  • Enquiries about the results of the Entrance Examination through letters, emails, faxes, or telegrams will not be entertained.
  • Candidates appearing for document verification at the university must bring the following documents for verification:

-Online Application Form

- Receipt of Application Fee

- Seat Allotment Letter

- Receipt of Counselling Fee

- Receipt of Program Fee

- Self-attested photocopies of the High School Certificate and Marks-Sheet, along with the originals.

- Self-attested photocopies of the Intermediate Certificate and Marks-Sheet, along with the originals.

- Self-attested photocopies of Marks-Sheet and Certificate of any other higher degree qualifications, along with the originals. 

- Domicile Certificate of Uttarakhand State issued by the competent authority after 20 Nov. 2001.

  • Candidates who do not fulfill the eligibility conditions at the time of counseling and are not declared medically fit will not be granted admission.
  • Once a candidate is admitted to a program based on merit and seat availability during counseling, they will not be allowed to change their program after counseling is completed.

GBPUAT BSc Agriculture Admission Process 2024

All candidates must provide a valid email address in the application form as a requirement. The candidate's registered email address will be used to send important communication such as the registration number, password, and any other relevant information regarding the written examination or counseling if required. It is essential for candidates to regularly check their emails for any updates from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. Candidates should not share their passwords with anyone else.

  • Please take note that the Admit Card for the written test will not be mailed. Candidates are responsible for downloading their own admit cards from the website or portal.
  • Candidates should be careful to provide accurate information while filling out the online application form. Any mistakes made by the candidate will be their sole responsibility.
  • Candidates must ensure that they complete all the steps of the registration process and submit the application fee by the specified deadline mentioned in the instructions.

Once the application is submitted, it cannot be withdrawn, and the application fee will not be refunded under any circumstances. Additionally, the fee cannot be reserved for any future examination or selection process.

  1. Registration:
  • Enter your mobile number (Exclude the prefix "0" or "+91" before the mobile number).
  • Provide your email address.
  • Write your full name (Avoid using prefixes such as Mr./Ms./Shri./Dr.).
  • Enter/select your date of birth in the format of dd/mm/yyyy, as stated in your High School Certificate.
  • Choose the program you are applying for.
  • Select your domicile state (Uttarakhand/Other).
  • Enter the captcha code.
  1.  Login:
  • Enter the registration number received on your registered email address.
  • Input the password received to your email address.
  1. Fill Application Form:

Enter your details correctly and check all the boxes that might apply to you. Please note that there will be no correction window for this, so all the details have to be filled in accurately.

Instructions for scanning the PHOTOGRAPH, SIGNATURE, and LEFT HAND THUMB IMPRESSION:

  1. Photograph:
  •   The photograph should be a recent color passport-style picture.
  •   It should be taken against a light-colored, preferably white background.
  •   Look directly at the camera with a relaxed face.
  •   If taken on a sunny day, have the sun behind you or be in the shade to avoid squinting or harsh shadows.
  •   There should be no "red-eye" if flash is used.
  •   If wearing glasses, ensure there are no reflections and your eyes are clearly visible.
  •   Caps, hats, and dark glasses are not permitted, though religious headwear is allowed as long as it doesn't cover the face.
  •   Dimensions should be 200X230 pixels (preferred).
  •   The file size should be between 20kb-50kb.
  1. Signature:
  •   Sign on white paper using a black/blue ink pen.
  •   The signature should be done by the applicant only, not by anyone else.
  •   The signature will be used on the admit card and other necessary documents.
  •   If the signature on the answer script during the examination doesn't match the one on the admit card, the applicant will be disqualified.
  • Scan only the signature area, not the entire page.
  •   Dimensions should be 140X60 pixels (preferred).
  •   The file size should be between 10kb-20kb.
  1. Left Hand Thumb Impression:
  •   Place the left hand thumb impression on white paper.
  •   After scanning, ensure that the file size is not more than 20kb.
  •    Dimensions should be 140X60 pixels (preferred).
  •    The file size should be between 10kb-20kb.

If the file size and format of the photograph, signature, and thumb impression do not match the prescribed requirements or are not loaded correctly, an error message will be displayed. In such cases, the candidate must rectify the size and reload the images.

  1. Submit the application fee:

Candidates can deposit the fee through the following methods:

  •      UPI/Debit/Credit Card/Internet Banking: Applicants can pay the fee online using a debit card, credit card, or internet banking. It is advisable to keep a copy of the "Online Fee Receipt" for future reference.

After successful registration of the online application, candidates should not attempt to register for the same course again, as multiple registration numbers and passwords may cause problems in the future. Multiple registrations for the same course may result in cancellation or rejection of the candidature without any notice.

  1. Print the confirmation page and keep it for record-keeping.

Candidates should retain a photocopy of the filled-in Confirmation Page and fee receipt for future correspondence.

Dear vaishnav, the Shri Shivaji Agriculture College, Amravati does not offer spot admission. The college offers admission to the B.Sc (Agriculture) course through the MHT CET entrance exam. The application form for the MHT CET can be downloaded from the MSCE website. The application fee is Rs 500 for general category candidates and Rs 250 for reserved category candidates. You can pply for registration next year since the 2023 admissions have closed.
