OTET 2022: The provisional answer key (2nd) to OTET 2022 has been released by BSE Odisha on its official website @bseoshisha.ac.in. Candidates can check the OTET 2022 2nd Answer key and raise objections against it from July 8, 2023 10 pm onwards to July 11, 2023 (midnight). Once the exam conducting body reviews all the objections and rectifies the errors in the answer sheet, OTET 2022 Final Answer Key and result will be released on the same website. OTET 2022 Selection Process
To be eligible for the examinations, a candidate must receive a minimum of 60% (for general students) and 50% (for SC/ST/SEBC students). The OTET Certificates will be given to the candidates once they have passed the exam. These certifications will not directly appoint them as teachers, but they will be eligible for future employment. This certificate is valid for a lifetime and is only applicable and relevant to schools in the state of Odisha. The interview and other selection conditions established by the school authorities determine a candidate's final selection for the position of teacher. What is the OTET Exam?
The Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) is a teacher eligibility test administered by the Odisha Board of Secondary Education (BSE). Candidates who apply for the teacher hiring process for Classes I-VIII in various Government, Private, and Private Unaided schools must pass the exam.
BSE will issue an OTET Eligibility certificate to the candidate once they have qualified for the OTET Exam. This certificate does not appoint the selected individual as a teacher, but it does act as an eligibility criterion for candidates applying to various schools in Odisha for teacher recruitment drives. Until BSE modified it to lifetime in 2022, the certificate's validity was 7 years.

OTET 2022 Admit Card
The BSE has issued admit cards to applicants who have finished their registrations and submitted their application forms with fees on June 24, 2023. The OTET Admit Card has been issued on the BSE's official website in June 2023. The candidates can visit the official website of OTET to download their admit cards. It is mandatory for all the candidates to bring their admit card to the exam hall or else they will not be allowed to sit for the exam. The OTET 2022 admit card consists of important details such as the name of the candidate, exam venue, exam schedule, important instructions, photograph and signature, etc.

Eligibility for the OTET: Paper-I (Primary Level Teachers for Classes I-V)
Candidates who meet any of the following requirements are eligible to take OTET Paper-I. (for Primary Class I-V).
A minimum of 50 per cent in 10+2 exams (45 per cent for Reserved category) and a 2-year elementary education diploma are required (in accordance with CT or DElEd).
A minimum of 45 per cent in 10+2 exams (40 per cent for Reserved category) and a 2-year elementary education diploma are required (in accordance with NCTE).
A minimum of 50% in 10+2 (45% for Reserved category) and a 4-year BElEd diploma are required.
A minimum of 50 per cent in 10+2 exams (45 per cent for Reserved category) and a 2-year Special Education Diploma are required.
Candidates must have completed their bachelor's degree in any discipline and hold a two-year diploma in Special Education/Elementary Education.
Eligibility for the OTET: Paper-II (Secondary Level Teachers for Classes VI-VIII)
Candidates who meet any of the following conditions are eligible to take the OTET Paper-II (for Secondary level, Classes VI-VIII):
A minimum of 50 per cent in 10+2 exams (45 per cent for Reserved category) and a one-year Bachelor of Education programme are required (B.Ed).
A minimum of 45 per cent in 10+2 exams (40 per cent for Reserved category) and a one-year Bachelor of Education programme are required (B.Ed).
A minimum of 50% in 10+2 exams (45% for Reserved category) and a one-year course in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Special Education are required.
A minimum of 50% in 10+2 exams (45% in Reserved category) and a 4-year study in BA Special Education or B.Sc. Special Education are required.

Procedure for Applying for OTET 2022
The procedure for applying for the OTET 2022 is outlined below.

- To register for the exam, enter the required information such as your name, phone number, and email address.
- Candidates can then use their credentials to log in and complete the payment process by State Bank of India Net Banking, Credit/Debit card, or SBI Challan (if offline).
- The candidate must wait 12 hours after making the payment before filling out the application form. They must complete personal information, educational qualifications, and upload required papers using the given website.
- After filling out the application, candidates must examine it and sign the statement by clicking 'Submit.'

OTET 2022 Paper-I Exam Pattern
- Paper-I of the OTET consists of 150 objective multiple-choice questions at the primary level.
- There is only one mark for each question, and there are no negative marks for any sections of the paper.
