Tips & Tricks to Prepare for CUET 2024 in 15 Days

Here are a few CUET 2024 preparation tips for the remaining 15 days. Aspirants are advised to check the plan on how to prepare for CUET 2024 in order to ace the exam:

1. Sketch out a Revision Plan

Aspirants must create a fresh revision schedule for a duration of 15 days. The timetable must be doable so that it is easy for candidates to follow it. It is completely up to the candidates what they want to revise. They can either revise the entire CUET syllabus 2024 or only a few important chunks of it.

2. Follow the Schedule

Creating the plan is the first step towards exam preparation but following it is the most important part. It is crucial to adhere to the revision schedule to get a good score in the exam. Candidates should make it a habit to check out all the formulas and important topics that are a part of the CUET 2024 Syllabus according to the schedule. They may also create a chart and stick it near their bed to stay in sync with the time-table.

3. Learn How to Manage Time

Since CUET is a time-bounded exam, it is of utmost importance to understand the art of Time-Management. The best way to manage time is to keep a timer and solve the mock questions or CUET sample papers 2024. For example: If the duration of a test is 45 minutes, students should aim to solve the sample questions in the same amount of time. This will not only build the exam stamina but will also help in understanding how much time each question demands.

4. Consider Pomodoro Approach

Pomodoro Technique is a brilliant solution for those students who easily get distracted during exam preparation. Candidates simply have to set a timer for 25 minutes and focus on completing a single task until the timer goes off. When the session ends, mark off one Pomodoro and jot down what has been completed. After every Pomodoro, students should take a 5-minute break and give their eyes a rest from screens like mobile, tablets, television etc. After four Pomodoros are over, aspirants should take a longer, more restorative break of 15-30 minutes.

5. Do Not Start Anything New

Aspirants should never start a new topic in the last few days. Whether the syllabus is finished or not, it is beneficial to completely focus on revision and perfecting the topics that have already been learned. Starting a new topic will add unnecessary tension and stress which may affect the exam performance.

6. Solve Sample Problems

Candidates should solve as many sample papers and CUET 2024 mock tests as possible. It will not only help them in increasing their speed, understanding the CUET exam pattern 2024 and getting familiar with the questions but will also help in enhancing their accuracy.

7. Evaluate Performance

Students should always evaluate the sample questions and mock tests after completing them. They should circle out and jot down the mistakes or errors that have been made and work towards rectifying them.

8. Avoid Taking Stress

No matter how cliché this may sound, candidates should avoid taking unnecessary stress! They should stay away from negative thoughts at all costs and invest their energies in preparing for the exam.

9. Do Not Get Distracted

Since only a few days are remaining for the exam, it is easy to get distracted. It is important to understand the value of the last few days as they are the deciding factor of the final exam performance of the candidate.

10. Take Proper Rest

Since a lot of energy and focus go on studying and preparing for the exam, it is only beneficial to take proper rest everyday. Candidates should take at least 7-8 hours of sleep daily so that the mind and body remain fresh and focused.

Last but not the least, eat a balanced diet, take frequent breaks and stay confident!

CUET 2024 will be held in a CBT mode across 554 cities located in India and 13 cities located outside the nation. Over a million candidates are expected to sit for the test and more than 86 CUET participating universities 2024 are willing to accept the score.

Good Luck!
