If JEE Main is not being taken this year, LPUNEST is generally required for admission to BTech CSE at LPU. It is also useful for scholarship consideration. The exam checks basic aptitude, reasoning, and subject knowledge. Many students choose this route because it gives another opportunity to enter a good CSE program with industry focused learning and placement support.

Yes LPU offers diploma programs in different fields along with lateral entry options. From what I have seen the university focuses quite a bit on practical learning, labs and skill based training which helps students gain industry exposure early.
