Haryana TET 2021 result will be out anytime soon. Board of Secondary Education – Haryana (BSEH) is the authority of conducting the HTET (Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test) once or twice a year. HTET is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for the post of Primary Teacher, Trained Graduate Teacher, and Post Graduate Teacher in government schools across the state. Qualifying HTET is mandatory to work as a teacher in private schools across the state. Only those candidates with a valid HTET score are eligible to apply for a teacher recruitment test conducted by the Haryana government. HTET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

HTET is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for the position of primary teacher, trained graduate teacher and postgraduate teacher. The eligibility criteria for all three categories are different, and candidates can check the HTET eligibility criteria here.

Level 1 - Class 1 to 5

  • HTET applicants must have passed Class 12 and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed) with at least 50% of marks. Final-year D.EI.Ed students are also eligible to register for HTET. (OR)
  • Class 12 and Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed) with at least 50% of marks (OR)
  • Class 12 and Diploma in Special Education with at least 50% of marks (OR)
  • As per the recent NCERT notification, candidates with a B.Ed degree can also apply for the Primary Teacher post.

Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)

Level 2 - Class 6 to 8

  • Bachelor’s Degree and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) with 50% of marks (OR)
  • Bachelor’s degree and D.EI.Ed with 50% of marks (OR)
  • Class 12 and B.EI.Ed with 50% of marks (OR)
  • Class 12 and Integrated B.Sc. B.Ed and B.A. B.Ed with 50% of marks

Post Graduate Teacher

Level 3 – Above Class 8

  • Master’s Degree and B.Ed with 50% of marks

Documents Required for HTET Application Form 2021

HTET 2021applicants must scan the following documents before filling the online application form for the HTET exam. These documents must be uploaded along with the HTET application form.

  • Scanned Copy of Latest Passport Size Photograph of Candidates
  • Scanned Copy of Candidates’ Signature
  • Scanned Copy Left Thumb Impression Image

In most cases, only the above two documents are required to upload along with the HTET application. 

How to Fill HTET Application Form 2021?

HTET 2021 applicants must follow the steps below to fill HTET application form –

  • HTET online application form can be filled only through the official website of the Board of Secondary Education, Haryana.
  • The aspirants must visit the official website and click on the link that indicates HTET 2021 or Apply Online for HTET 2021.
  • Most probably, the online application process begins with the payment of the HTET 2021 application fee.
  • The application fee for HTET can be paid online.
  • After the application fee payment, the candidates will have to upload a Signature and Photograph.
  • After the above process, fill the HTET application form carefully. The candidates must provide correct details to avoid application form rejection.
  • Take the printout of the filled-in HTET application form.

There is no specific selection procedure for HTET 2021. The candidates must score beyond the HTET cutoff mark prescribed by the board to qualify the HTET exam. The cutoff for HTET can be checked below:

HTET 2021 Syllabus for Level 1, 2 & 3

HTET 2021 syllabus for Level 1, 2 & 3 is almost similar. However, the difficulty level of questions changes for each level. The detailed HTET syllabus can be checked here –

Child Development and Pedagogy

The subject focuses on all the topics associated with the educational psychology of teacher and learning. The candidates must refer to Educational Psychology books for D.EI.Ed, B.EI.Ed or B.Ed courses. The difficulty level of questions change for each level –

  • Level 1 – Most of the questions of educational psychology are based on child development/ psychology – 6 to 11 Years
  • Level 2 – For level 2, the questions will be on child development/ psychology – 11 to 16 years
  • Level 3 –For Level 3, the questions will be in child development/ psychology – 14 to 17 Years

English

Hindi and English subjects are common for Level 1, 2 and 3 of HTET 2019 exam. The candidates must focus on –

  • Grammar (Basic to Moderate) such as Tenses, Active and Passive Voice, Direct and Indirect Speech, Verb Forms etc
  • Vocabulary (Meanings, Spelling, Antonyms and Synonyms)
  • Idioms
  • Punctuation
  • Comprehension

Hindi

Basic Grammar

General Awareness

The candidates must focus on state-level current affairs, i.e., Haryana G.K. Some of the questions will be based on History, Politics, Current Affairs (National-Level) etc.

Refer the specific subject syllabus of Class 1 to 5 (Level 1), Class 6 to 8 (Level 2), Class 8 to 12 (Level 3). Most of the questions will not be beyond these levels.

HTET 2021 Admit Card

The admit card for HTET 2021 will be available on the official website of the Board of Secondary Education – Haryana. Applicants can download HTET admit card by entering their HTET application/ registration number and Date of Birth. After downloading the admit card for HTE, the candidate must take the printout of the same. HTET admit card will have the details of the candidates, exam centre, exam date, and time of the exam. The candidates must read all the details printed on the admit card carefully.
