(100 * Number of candidates in the session with a raw score equal to or less than the candidate's score) ÷ Total number of candidates in the session |

What is MHT CET Normalisation Method?
To know more about the MHT CET 2024 normalisation method, go through the steps given below.
Step 1: Divide Applicants into two days and two shifts every day.
Candidates would be randomly assigned to four sessions, with approximately the same number of candidates in each session. These four sessions will be as follows:
- Day 1 Shift 1 Session
- Day 1 Shift 2 Session 2
- Shift-1, Day 2 Session 3
- Day-2 Shift-2 Session 4
If a greater number of days or shifts is required, the applicants will be divided proportionally. It will ensure that there is no difference in the distribution of applicants who will take the exam. Furthermore, the likelihood of such bias diminishes with a large population of examinees scattered around the country.
Step 2: Prepare the results for each session
Every session's MHT CET result 2025 will be in the form of:
Raw Scores Percentiles Scores for each subject (Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry), as well as the overall. The four percentiles listed above will be determined for each applicant in the Session.
Let T1,M1, P1, C1 be a candidate's raw Total, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry scores, and T1P, M1P, P1P, C1P be that candidate's Percentile Total, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry scores.
- Total Percentile (T1P) = 100 x Total number of applicants in the session who had a raw score equal to or less than the T1 score
- Mathematics Percentile (M1P) = 100 x Number of candidates in the session who had a raw score equal to or less than the M1 in Mathematics Total number of candidates in the session
- Physics Percentile (P1P) = 100 x The number of candidates in the session who had a raw score equal to or less than the P1 score in Physics Total number of candidates in the session
- Chemistry Percentile (C1P) = 100 x the number of candidates in the session who had a raw score equal to or less than the C1 score in Chemistry. The total number of applicants who participated in the session
Step 3: Compilation of total MHT CET 2025 scores
The MHT CET percentile scores for the Total Raw Score, which is determined through Step 2 for each of the four sessions (Session 1: Day-1 Shift-1, Session 2: Day-1 Shift-2, Session 3: Day-2 Shift-1, and Session 4: Day-2 Shift-2) will be combined. This will be referred to as the CET score, which will subsequently be used to compile the results.
