REET 2024 Exam

REET 2024:The Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board, Jaipur (RSMSSB), will release the notification for the REET 2024 exam in the third week of April 2024 on RSMSSB's official website -rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in. The application process for REET 2024 will also begin in the third week of April 2024 and the exam will be conducted in the last week of July 2024. The board will conduct the exam through pen and paper mode in 2024 for both levels.  

REET 2024, conducted once in a year, is a Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers. It is a state-level test for teaching eligibility. The board conducts exams for teaching positions in level 1 and level 2. Candidates who pass this exam will be appointed as primary teachers (classes 1–5) or upper primary instructors in government or private institutions (classes 6-8). The Rajasthan Subordinate & Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSMSSB) will issue a recruitment notice for Primary Teachers and Upper Primary Teachers.

REET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates for the Rajasthan eligibility exam for teachers must be less than 18 years of age. According to government regulations, candidates from the reserved category get age relaxation.

The candidate must have completed bachelor's degree and must have qualified for the last year of a two-year elementary education diploma programme. The candidate should have scored at least 45% in their final exam. Additionally, you should be enrolled in or have completed a 1-year Bachelor of Education in accordance with NCTE requirements

How to Apply for REET 2024 Exam?

As per the timetable provided above, interested applicants will apply online at recruitment.rajasthan.gov.in. The applicant must submit an online application for the relevant post based on his or her qualifications and eligibility. If you meet the qualifications and are eligible for more than one position, you must fill out a separate application form for each one. Applications submitted in person will not be accepted. The procedure to fill REET 2024 Application form is added below

  • First, visit the official website of  REET i.e https://rmssb.rajasthan.gov.in/.
  • Click the REET 2024 link and choose "apply online".
  • Enter Challan number, mother's name and date of birth to log in.
  • Fill up the application form with your personal information such as contact details, educational qualification etc
  • After completing the application form, pay the required application fee.
  • Recheck the application form before submitting it.
  • Take a printout of the completed application form.

Aspirants can choose to attempt either the mathematics & science section or the social sciences section of the paper based on their preferences. The questions from the remaining subjects should be mandatorily attempted by the candidate to qualify for the exam.

The Level 1 exam will have total of 150 questions. Every question is for 1 mark. In order to qualify, the General category candidates need to attain 60% marks and for other categories, 55% marks are enough.

REET 2024 Syllabus 

Candidates should attempt 30 questions in each of the following subjects for primary level teaching: child development and pedagogy, language such as Hindi, English, Sindhi, Sanskrit, Gujarati, Punjabi, or Urdu; language two may be in Hindi, Sanskrit, English, Gujarati, Sindhi, Punjabi, or Urdu; mathematics; and environmental studies. A total of 150 questions will be asked.

In REET 2024, candidates would be asked 30 questions for the secondary level examination's required subject of child development and pedagogy, which is taught in Hindi, Punjabi, English, Gujarati, Sanskrit, Sindhi, and Urdu. They would also be asked 60 questions for mathematics, science, and either social studies or social science. There will be 150 questions total, each worth 150 points.

REET 2024 Paper 1 is divided into five sections: Mathematics, Environmental Studies, Language I and II, and Child Development and Pedagogy. How to Download REET 2024 Admit Card?

The students can collect their admit cards in advance from the official website of the Board of School Education, Rajasthan, Ajmer.

  • Students can go to official website, which is the BSER- Board of School Education, Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers website, and get more information.
  • They can find the "Download REET Admit Card" link from the homepage of the website.
  • You must log in using your Registration Number, Mother's/Name, Father's and Date of Birth in the login window that appears before you.
  • Your screen will display the hall ticket after submitting your information.
  • Download the Covid-19 declaration form and the REET admit card, and print both of them.

After downloading the admit card, students should ensure that all the information printed on the admit card is absolutely correct. It should include several points, such as:

Essential Documents to be Carried to Examination Hall

The students must not forget to carry a list of documents while going to REET 2024 examination hall.

How to Challenge REET Answer Key 2024?

They may challenge the answer key with convincing evidence if any discrepancies are found. The board only takes into consideration objections that are supported by precise evidence. For each question that is objected to, students have to pay INR 300.

    Step 1: Open the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan's official website at https://www.reetbser2024.in/, and log in with your application number and password.

    Step 2: Go to the "Press Note" Section by selecting the "Candidate Information" option.

    Step 3: After clicking that, the candidate must provide their specific information, including their Registration No., DOB, and Captcha.

    Step 4: Complete the form. Choose the issue and submit any objections you wish to raise.

    Step 5: Upload or attach the document that will support your complaints.

    REET 2024 Results

    The conducting authority posts the level 1 and level 2 exam results on the official website. The total number of points earned and the candidates' compliance with the cut-off criteria are used to determine the REET results. Along with the results, the board also publishes the category-wise merit list. By entering their login information on the website, candidates can view their results. They are advised to print their respective results for later use.

    REET Salary Structure and Benefits

    Depending on the candidate's position and level of teaching, different compensation structures and benefits apply. The qualifying applicants may submit an application to the school or institute in Rajasthan where they wish to work. The certificate is valid up to three years in the state. Different allowances, such as travel expenses, living expenses, Dearness Allowances (DA), bonuses, and supplies for urban damage are also offered in addition to the in-hand income. While level 2 teachers can instruct classes 6–8, level 1 teachers can only instruct classes 1–5.

    The candidate's remuneration is determined by the teaching positions, which are classified into three tiers. The three grades are Grades 1, 2, and 3, with Grade 3 being the lowest and Grade 1 being the highest teaching position. If candidates do well in grades 2 and 3, they will have a high chance of making it to grade 1. The pay scale for the various grades is displayed below.

    Yes, admission to BEd course at Dr Preeti Global University for the academic session 2023-25 is ongoing. Madhya Pradesh Private University Regulatory Commission (MPPURC) is responsible for the commencement and conclusion of the admission process for all private universities in Madhya Pradesh and recently MPPURC extended the admission last date. However, the last date is yet to be announced. You are suggested to apply at the earliest before the application concludes. Earlier, the Dr. Preeti Global University admission last date was January 20.
