General English Comprehension

Aspirants have to answer 15 questions in this section. Here are some tips for scoring well in the General English Comprehension section -

  • The aspirants must make efforts to enhance their vocabulary. That way they can easily attempt questions on synonyms, antonyms, idioms, phrases etc.
  • Regular revision of previously studied material can be useful along with online quizzes or mock tests.
  • To excel in this section, a strong hold on English Grammar is also vital. Candidates must be thorough in figures of speech, parts of speech, tense, voice etc.

General Sanskrit Comprehension and General Hindi

Both these sections will have 15 questions each. General Sanskrit is for the aspirants of Shiksha Shastri only.

  • Clarity on basic grammar topics is a must to tackle the questions of the Hindi and Sanskrit segments.
  • NCERT books can be a trusted source to read from.
  • Applicants must know the basic grammar rules and their implementation. They must study Sandhi, one-word substitution, Vyakaran, Alankar, Upsarg and Pratyay etc topics.

Logical and Analytical Reasoning

The Logical and Analytical Reasoning section will include 25 questions. Some practical suggestions below, to score as much in this section as possible -

  • Applicants must practise questions on critical thinking and reasoning.
  • They may face problems with family trees, coding-decoding etc.
  • Also, time management is crucial. While solving the queries, they must keep a track of the time required and slowly work on improving their speed as well as precision.

General Awareness

The General Awareness section has the most number of questions, with a total of 40 questions, and most of them are doable.

Some guidelines are -

  • Daily newspapers are a must and watching the news once a day at least will boost the knowledge of the aspirants and make them aware of current affairs.
  • The candidates must make notes of the major happenings as the chances of questions from such events are higher.
  • Some popular newspapers are The Hindu, The Indian Express etc which the applicants can follow on a regular basis.
  • Students should have command of the static GK topics as well.

Teaching-Learning Environment in School

The Teaching-Learning Environment in school segment has 25 total questions. Some practical ideas to achieve a decent score in this segment -

  • Aspirants can expect questions on teacher-student interaction, their relationship, teaching methods used etc.
  • The candidates must also be familiar with topics like classroom management, the psychology of the students, creating curriculum for them etc.

Bihar BEd CET 2024 Exam Pattern

The Bihar BEd CET question paper comprises five sections. Applicants will have to attempt questions of an objective nature (MCQs). The exam consists of 120 questions. Applicants are required to choose the correct answers and mark them in the OMR sheet given to them with a black or blue pen. Candidates for the Shiksha Shastri Programme must attempt a separate initial paper, different from what the BEd programme candidates have to answer.
