NCHMCT JEE is a well-known hotel management entrance exam. The exam is conducted for admission to undergraduate programs offered by the affiliated colleges/institutes of the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology. The difficulty level of the exam is not so high. Candidates with a decent level of preparation can easily score well in the exam. #Know the Exam Pattern

Candidates are advised to check the exam pattern of NCHMCT JEE to understand the marking scheme of the exam. The NCHMCT JEE exam pattern will also help them get an idea about the section-wise weightage of the exam.

#Solve Previous Year Question Papers

Candidates should solve at least 4-6 NCHMCT JEE previous years questions papers to understand the type of questions that were asked in the examination. Solving the previous years’ papers will also help them get familiar with the exam structure. 

#Check the Syllabus

Checking the syllabus of NCHMCT JEE will help the candidates know all the topics that will be covered in the examination. Candidates are advised to go through the syllabus of NCHMCT JEE before starting the exam preparation.

#Time Management

Candidates should note that they will be provided with 3 hours and no extra time will be given to any candidate. Hence, they should divide the time equally among all 5 sections. Candidates can also allocate 40% time for the Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude section and remaining time for the other sections. 

#Read Newspapers and Magazines

Candidates should read newspapers and magazines daily. This will help them improve their communication skills and reading speed. They can also read poems and novels.

Candidates should choose the books for NCHMCT JEE preparation that has covered all the topics mentioned in the NCHMCT JEE syllabus. They can choose the books that are recommended by toppers and experts.

#Prepare a Study Plan

Candidates should prepare a preparation plan before starting preparation. They can prepare separate plans for 6 months, 3 months and 1 month left for the NCHMCT JEE examination. The preparation plan should include solving mock test papers, previous years’ papers and sample papers of the NCHMCT JEE examination. 

#Learn Shortcut Formulas

Candidates are advised to learn shortcut formulas so that they can solve numerical problems quickly. They are also advised to practise a minimum of 3-4 problems from each topic provided in the syllabus of NCHMCT JEE. This will assist them in developing a strategy for dealing with similar kinds of problems in the examination.

1 Year Preparation Plan for NCHMCT JEE 2021

Candidates are advised to start preparing for the examination at least one year before the examination. They should allocate 5-6 months for completing the syllabus and the last 1-2 months for revision. Candidates should practise at least 2-3 sample papers of NCHMCT JEE in a week. Besides this, they should dedicate at least 1-2 hours for reading each day. They should pick each topic provided in the syllabus one by one and start preparing them.
