Bihar B.Ed CET 2023 Pattern

To score well in any entrance, it is essential to know its exam pattern well. Bihar B.Ed CET examination comprises 120 objective-type questions with four options to choose from. The test duration is 120 minutes or 2 hours. This test will be conducted in offline mode where the candidates have to mark their answers on an OMR sheet. As mentioned above, the Bihar B.Ed CET General English section comprises 15 questions of 1 mark each. Here are some tips that will help you score well in this section. 

  • Learn and revise some new words daily: Questions on synonyms, antonyms, idioms, one-word substitution, etc. are solely dependent on your vocabulary. Try and learn new words every single day and keep revising the things you have read in the past so that you do not forget them.
  • Take online quizzes and tests: There are various online quizzes and tests that you can take in order to examine your knowledge. You might also get to learn new words from these tests. 
  • Improve your basics: You must be well-versed with fundamental English grammar. If not, try to clear your basics such as figures of speech, parts of speech, tense, active-passive voice, etc. 

General Sanskrit Comprehension and General Hindi

General Sanskrit comprehension and General Hindi will each contain 15 questions of 1 mark each. Let's see how you can prepare for these sections of Bihar B.Ed CET 2023. 

  • Read questions and Instructions carefully: This is a general tip that you must follow in every exam to solve each question. There may be negative words like "Not" which a lot of candidates overlook, reducing the chances to score well. 
  • Hindi grammar is equally important: As per the syllabus, both the Hindi and Sanskrit section will carry questions from grammar. Be aware of the basic rules and exceptions and practice relevant questions regularly. Synonyms, antonyms, idioms, etc are a few topics you should learn well. 
  • Refer to trusted study material: Studying from trusted and updated study material is crucial to perform well in Bihar B.Ed CET. Many students prefer to use the NCERT books for their exam preparation. 

Logical and Analytical Reasoning

Let's see how you can prepare for the section of Logical and Analytical Reasoning in Bihar B.Ed CET to score the maximum marks. 

  • Time-management: Time management is of utmost importance when solving the questions in the Logical and Analytical Reasoning section. There might be questions that will take more time than others and students should not devote too much time on those. While practising questions from this section, candidates must a note to time themselves. This way, they will understand how much time is needed for solving questions. Remember, you have exactly 1 minute to answer each question. 
  • Practice topic-based tests: Taking tests can help you in many different ways. You'll find different types of questions and understand how to solve them. It is a good way to revise the formulas and calculation shortcuts as well.

General Awareness

This section carries the most amount of marks and with proper preparation, one can easily score well.

The last section of Bihar B.Ed CET has 25 marks and might be the easiest of the lot if you "think like a teacher". This section will have questions on the teacher-student relationship and issues. Read and try to understand the child's psychology, learning tools, curriculum, teaching methods, and so on.

Here are some basic but important last-minute tips for Bihar B.Ed CET 2023 that can help you: 

  • Do not confuse yourself with last-minute revision. At times, last-minute revision leads to utter confusion and ultimately lowers morale.
  • Ensure that you have not confused the day, time, or venue of the examination. Check the examination centre before the main exam day if it is an unknown location to you.
  • Try to reach your assigned examination centre at least half an hour before the reporting time.
  • Begin with solving the questions about which you are absolutely sure. Since it is not compulsory to answer the questions in order, you can solve all those questions first of which you are fully sure. After that, return to the remaining questions.
  • If you come across a particularly difficult question, avoid spending too much time on it.
  • Mark the answers carefully in the OMR sheet. Make sure you do not accidentally fill the wrong option.

Guru Nanak College of Education for Women is an Educational College. The primary programme provided by the college is a two-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programme with a seat intake of fifty seats. It is a regular programme. The institution offers seats for a variety of teaching subject combinations, including physical sciences, mathematics, English, social studies, economics, and commerce. The annual fee structure of the course is Rs 45,000 including tuition fees, library fees, laboratory fees, admission fees and more.
