JoSAA Registration 2024 - The JoSAA registration 2024 is likely to commence from June 10, 2024. Candidates will be able to fill the JoSAA registration form 2024 upto June 20, 2024. Through the JoSAA 2024 counselling process, JEE Main 2024 and JEE Advanced 2024 qualified candidates are allocated seats in the top-level engineering institutions in the country which include 26 IIITs, 32 NITs, 23 IITs, and 33 other GFTIs.

Revised Eligibility Criteria for Admission in IITs/NITs/GFTIs Due to COVID-19 

The eligibility criteria for admission into various IITs, NITs, and GFTIs have been altered due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The new eligibility criteria have been provided in the table below -

NIT Colleges and GFTI Colleges	Applicants must have secured at least the minimum passing marks in the JEE Main and Class 12th.
IIT Colleges	Applicants must have secured at least the minimum passing marks in the JEE Advanced exam and class XIIth exam

JoSAA Application Form 2024

The JoSAA Application Form 2024 will be available in online mode for applicants to fill out and submit. It is crucial to complete the application before the specified due date, as late submissions will not be accepted. After registration, applicants will receive a login password and ID proof. They should use the password corresponding to either JEE Advanced or JEE Main. Applicants who have appeared in JEE Mains are eligible to register for seat allocation in the NIT+ system, while those who have qualified in JEE Advanced can register for seat allocation in all participating institutes.

Applicants are required to pay the application fees through the State Bank of India e-Challan.

Step 1	Registration	All those candidates who have secured the minimum qualifying marks have to click on the available link "JoSAA 2023 Registration" first to land on the official website. Then, the candidates have to use their JEE (Main or Advanced) candidate credentials such as roll number and password and then click on the “Register” button. Then, the candidates will be asked to provide their basic details like nationality, gender, etc and once they provide all the necessary details, they have to click on the “Next” tab and proceed to the next stage of the JoSAA counselling application process
Step 2	Choice Filling and Locking of Choices	In this stage, the candidates have to choose those colleges which offer their favourite programmes from the available list of JoSAA participating colleges. After the candidates are satisfied with their choices, they have to lock and submit their choices. The choice filling and locking of choices link will be activated at the end of each counselling round.

After the candidates submit their locked choices, the JoSAA seat allocation process begins where the candidates are allocated seats as per the merit list and choices provided by the candidates. Due to COVID-19, there are some changes that have been introduced in the JoSAA counselling process like conducting the documents verification procedure in online mode instead of offline mode.
