AFCAT is a national level entrance exam conducted for selecting officers in Flying Branch, Ground Duty (Technical) and Ground Duty (Non-Technical). The exam is conducted twice a year. AFCAT Exam Pattern 2023
The question paper of AFCAT is divided into four sections namely Numerical Ability, Verbal Ability, General Awareness and Reasoning, and Military Aptitude. The exam contains 100 questions and the maximum time allotted to complete the exam is 2 hours. Candidates who have applied for the Ground Duty Technical Branch have to appear for an additional examination i.e Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT). Revise Your Notes/ Shortcuts: Candidates should revise the notes prepared by them during the AFCAT revision. They should also revise important questions from Geography, static GK, Physical Geography, Indian Geography, and other GK topics.

Time-Management: Candidates should note that the total duration of the AFCAT examination is 2 hours and they will not be provided with any extra time to finish the exam.
