Two types of documents are required during CCMT counselling. The documents required for CCMT registration are mark sheets, photo ID proof, category certificate, etc. For the verification round documents like seat acceptance and fee receipt, conduct certificates, etc are needed. 

List of Documents Required for CCMT 2025 Counselling

List of Documents Required for CCMT 2025 Counselling: CCMT counselling is conducted for various programs such as M.tech/ M.Arch/ M.Plan in an online mode. If you qualify the exam, then you will be eligible to attend the CCMT 2025 counselling. The documents needed for CCMT 2025 counselling can be divided into two categories, viz., documents required for CCMT registration and documents required for reporting. During the CCMT 2025 registration, you must upload documents like Class 10+2 mark sheet/certificate, Photo ID proof, degree or provisional certificate, category certificate, etc. There will be a document verification round also during the CCMT 2025 counselling. You are advised to keep these documents ready before the commencement of counselling so that they can avoid last-minute hurry. You should note that all the documents required in counselling have to be original and you have to upload them on the CCMT portal for verification, transfer certificate, migration certificate, seat acceptance fee payment receipt, conduct certificate, etc. You are advised to keep all of the required documents ready to avoid any last minute hurry. List of Documents Required to Upload for CCMT 2025 Counselling

The scanned copy of documents that you are required to upload while CCMT 2025 counselling registration are as follows:-

  • Class 10 Marksheet/ Certificate
  • Photo ID Proof – Aadhaar Card/ Voter ID/ Driving License/ PAN Card
  • Class 12 Marksheet/ Certificate
  • Mark Sheet or Grade Sheet of UG Semester Exams (All semesters)
  • Degree or Provisional Certificate (if the UG results are awaited, you can obtain the ‘Course Completion Certificate’ from the CCMT website, fill it out, get it signed by the principal, and upload it on the CCMT portal)
  • GATE 2025 result (2025/ 2024/ 2022)
  • Category Certificate
  • PwD Certificate (if applicable)

Note: If you do not have a valid EWS/ OBC-NCL certificate issued after April 1, 2025, you can upload the 2025 certificate for the time being. However, the latest certificate has to be submitted at the time of admission. You require to download an undertaking from the CCMT website, sign in, and upload the same.

List of Documents Required for Physical Reporting after CCMT 2025 Seat Allotment

After you accept the seat allotment & pay the seat allotment fee, you will have to report physically to the allotted institutes with the original documents mentioned below:-

  • Document for Date of Birth Proof: Class X mark sheet, a certificate from the last school attended, or a recognized educational board document with the applicant's birthdate on it. Suppose the class X marksheet or certificate does not include the applicant's date of birth. In that case, they must upload the class X mark sheet or certificate along with any other government-issued document that does. These documents include passports, Aadhaar cards, driving licenses, voter ID cards, PAN cards, birth certificates issued by municipal corporations, and any other document containing the applicant's name, date of birth, and parent's name.
  • Photo ID proof as per Govt. of India norms
  • Mark sheet of Class XII/ Equivalence Certificate
  • GATE scorecard (2023, 2024, or 2025).
  • Degree/ Provisional Certificates. A certificate of course completion from the last studied institution or university, or a relevant undertaking, must be submitted in the manner specified on the CCMT website if the qualifying degree results are still pending.
  • Grade/Mark sheets of qualifying examination for all semesters.
  • Declaration by you on OBC-NCL/EWS status in the prescribed format available on the CCMT website.
  • Certificate for Persons with Disabilities (PwD), if applicable, issued by the competent authority. Refer CCMT website for the format.
  • Certificate of category (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS), if applicable, issued by the appropriate government and in accordance with the Government of India format, accessible on the CCMT website. The certificate for the OBCNCL/EWS category must be granted on April 1, 2025, or later.
    Kindly know that
  • If you are unable to get the OBC-NCL/EWS certificate issued on or after April 1, 2025, your category will be changed on the portal by the Verifying Officer. In this case, your seat may be canceled.
  • The caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL) issued by Maharashtra State must be validated by the Social Welfare Department (in case of SC and OBC-NCL category) and Tribal Welfare Department (in case of ST category) of the Maharashtra Government. The SC/ST/OBC-NCL students of Maharashtra State have to produce their caste validity certificate in the format available on the CCMT website.
  • ST certificates from Tamil Nadu state must be issued by the concerned Revenue Divisional Officer.

Note: The original documents shall be returned to you after the physical verification at the allotted institute.

In most Indian states, just having a BTech degree is not enough to appear for TET or DSC. You usually need a proper teaching course like B.Ed or D.El.Ed along with it.

This isn’t about how “big” or “small” your degree is. It’s about teacher training. A BTech gives you technical knowledge, but it does not train you to teach students in a classroom.
